That actually looks really good. Seems like you spent quite a long time on it. Not sure if I would have the patience, but it#'s clear that if you spend time on the editor you can make really good ships. Hiding parts inside the hull is a time-tested concept so don't worry about it! Making it look like like an illusion of another part, that's just great! I may have to take that challenge, but I will probably make a spaceship looking like a bee instead! </p

I suppose most people would play this game fullscreen and devote all their attention to it (To suggest otherwise would be blasphemy ;P) So such an alert would be very low down on the developers list. Imagine also in the reviews if they didn't discover the off option!

If you zoom out more you will see the map changing to show the strategic interface (is that it's name?). The planets will change to show their habitability and will show your icon as well. I find that very useful to locate my planets. Then you just zoom back in where you want.

I just wanted to say this problem persists and I can't continue my game. I've tried reloading, quitting and restarting but the idle colony button won't let me continue, no matter how many times I confirm that the colony is indeed producing stuff. What I'm I doing wrong here?

Perhaps we could take a middle route. Make the planet screen immersive and colourful, yes that would be nice. But I want to be able to look at the important tiles in the world more easily and know that I can build on them and what I should build on them should be easy to build. I agree with joeball123 that it needs to intuitive. In Civ games
Quoting Achronous, reply 41 It's good UI design I'd say. Makes you focus on the important parts. Sometimes, Form > Function This is one of those instances
I suppose people will always like different things. And that's fine. :)

As the title says, one of my planets is stuck as Idle Colony and I can't move onto the next turn. The planet clearly has empty tiles and I am queueing different things, projects or ships but nothing works to clear its condition. I've rushed a construction, but still stuck. This is with 0.0.2.0 version. Anybody else seeing this? Drengin toilets clogging the queue?

I like the monochromatic unusable tiles. Provides a good contrast and makes it quicker to see where to build the next project. I don't think the image of Earth and the moon is necessary as well. On the right hand side, I like how the projects are split from the rest of the buildings. I don't like that they are labelled Available Projects for the buildings and Projects for economic, research queues. Doesn't make much sense to call the buildings/construct
