Top of the screen is the name of the leader. Top right the name of the faction. For the other comments, I agree. The clearer the UI is the better.

elerium and elerium defence shields should be relatively rare in my opinion, just to keep with the game lore. Earth had a shield during the Drengin war. It was the only planet in the galaxy. Realistically you couldn't defend all your worlds that easily. You need to make conscious choices which worlds are important enough to build extra defences.

I sometimes like to build swarms of tiny ships loaded with weapons. I find they are effective against planet defenders and when I want to keep my larger ships intact for possible returning defending fleets.

If a fleet of 30 ships has broken through your defenses (your fleets) then you are probably outmatched. There won't be much your planets will be able to do!

I will copy my reply here as well: I just had a similar problem. I just started a new game with the Yor. Went into the ship designer to make a new ship, selected Yor_Transport_01T template and game locked up. Mouse cursor stuttered for a while then froze as well. Had to switch off computer. Ticket number: #VAZ-533-67328. Saved game and debug.err included in request. Thanks. Hope this is sorted.

I have done this a long time ago. I know what you mean. The problem is not that it happens every time and with every hull. It happens specifically with a [i]few[/i] hulls, which indicates there's a problem somewhere with those ones. For now, it's Yor_Transport_01T, but I think there are a couple more, which I haven't identified yet.

In a normal game you can click the victory tab and then you can change it from there (button on bottom left). Not sure if you can do that during campaign...

I found out recently that only the autosave is synced. Hope that helps a little bit.

Yes. If your treasure is negative all production and research stops. Everything is shifted to wealth production so that your treasury will return to positive. This is can result in a yo-yo effect if you don't balance your budget as as soon as you go to positive money, you are are again bleeding money which returns you to negative treasure.
