Po'....Hope things look up for you soon! Make sure the nitro is being used for the right diagnosis...sometimes chest pain isn't from the heart. A good question to ask your MD is, "What else could this be?". Anyhow, I enjoy reading your posts and really do hope things get better for you. :) Doc

Great thread! I'd like to say that I'm not a 'skinner' in the WC sense. I'm an MD (I do deal with lots of skins ;) , though). In my profession, we achieve success by standing on the shoulders of those who came before us. To try to do it any other way is mostly foolish (I say mostly because sometimes serendipity occurs and valuable finds can be made by 'reinventing' the wheel). Artists, though, are different in that they always start at some idea or object found in "reality" an
I hope in the future that the galleries have a "Report a rip" function so that a more private solution will be readily available. Until then . . if you suspect something is wrong . . PM a moderator. Then consider your work done. If you don't like how it's handled . . no matter what rank you are or your experience skinning . . let it go or go somewhere else. Bashing another artist is the wrong way to handle it. Every time.
Yup. Right on, Zu.
I suppose
What if everyone every couple of days everyone updated their skins to be at the top of page one..? What if everyone took images from other themes, threw them together badly and called it their 'work' This may not mean anything to a lot of people but to th epeople that DO their own work, are honest in their appraoch, it IS something.. in fact it's quite a big deal.
I vote yes to that as well. If you are talking about this type of activity, the appropriate action should tak
Arguing with an idiot may confuse who is who.
But who's on first, what's on second, I don't know's on third...... ;) Hi Zu! Love your comments. There really is a HUGE diff between negative comments and negative delivery. In the latter case, it never arrives.
This post is worthless without pictures
I don't think Zu was looking for google stuff nor the photoshop stuff. I think he was lookin' for the kinda pix ya can't post here. Zubaz is a B-A-A-A-A-D boy!(Lou Costello accent here). Someone please tell his Mrs. ;) .
Although I agree with most of this post.. this statement is..to me.. is absurd. Heres the reality folks, people don't get better by telling them GREAT SKIN!!..GOOD WORK!! They get better via realistic criticism, sometimes it hurts, in the long run, it does help.
That's fine. Snowman simply said "Do it politely and in private communication" and that's what's called CIVILITY. Right on snowman....I've said the same thing, and try to practice it.
Worry does not empty tomorrow of sorrow - it empties today of strength.Saving this away until I need it. Thanks
Zu: Worry is the rent you pay on a house you don't even live in. Thanks for stepping in here....I wanted to ask you to yesterday, but I thought that you might really need your Sunday for other stuff. :) All's well that ends well.

YES! Look...I believe in real measures: Make sure you get to a Surgeon and an Oncologist. One probably won't work without the other's consultation. If Mastectomy is a must, then realize that reconstructive surgery is covered by insurance companies. Best of luck to you!

Kitty, that's just so wrong. I can't believe anyone wishes you ill. Your tone is quite frankly, depressed. You cannot make rational choices in that state. When my wife died eight years ago, all I begged for was to be taken instead of her, and then just to die to join her. These were the darkest times of my life and thankfully, a patient of mine, a Psychiatrist, treated me. Now, just cut the self pity stuff. Bad things happen, and a Deity doesn't (if one exists) play any part in

Well, I'd like to extend my condolences on the passing of your Dad...no matter how difficult he'd become. Actually, when it comes to losses, you've had quite a few. Prima facia, you sound as if you've adjusted to it all pretty well. Congrats on that as it would have sent lesser men to the Zoloft farm. You're absolutely right about taking time off to evaluate what it is you really want. You might want to avoid a career in the SAS or SBS with your back being what it is, but I'd say short of t
