If you are getting the 1.91k(a) version you are likely to have Systray troubles as we can replicate easily what people have been reporting here. You will need to back up to the previous version of Object Dock by unchecking the "show pre-release versions" options in Impulse. That build is a beta/alpha build and is only for test available to the public. Support has reported this up to the developers. Sorry for the trouble!
Hankers could you please pass on to SD how useful it would be to use Impulse directly to rollback to a prior install. For example if the user could just click a button on the right side of the Impulse update screen to show prior release versions say last stable version and all subsequent betas, it would make Impulse a real star for managing version installs.
This is something that is being explored already. No word on what the latest updates are going to

We have had work around troubles with UltraMon and Multimon in the past. Many users have reported it here as well. I have to say because of all that I'm not totally suprized. I will try it out come Monday and see what might be happening though, thanks very much for the info!

Well just to check are your video drivers up to date? So the software was working, then you started playing with some new packs and it stopped working. After you did the reinstall did you apply one of the base packs to see if it worked again? I went looking and I haven't found many cases like the one you described so far. Also in IconPackager, under Settings>System Settings you can use the 'Rebuild Icon Cache' and Repair Icon Images buttons, which could help with this issue.

I don't want to venture even a guess at the risk of dissapointing people. However I will, as well as Wincustomize.com, keep you up to date as things progress.

Here is one of the pictures from the event! Not the professional ones mind you but I think it captures the moment well.

The only thing to look out for in a case like this is if the free versions are still installed before installing the full versions. Those situations can sometimes cause conflcits. It doesn't appear that is the case but I thought I would toss this out there just to be safe.

I have not seen the gagets go missing before. Does the folder get set up for them on your desktop? Do you get the same error message when you try to run them from there? Is this on a Vista install? Do you have UAC running?

Thanks Bichur! It will be addressed in the full update. There is no intention to patch for the start menu fix at this time. This bug actually affects less than small percent of our customers so the developers are pushing ahead on the 2.0 update rather than write a fix patch. In the end it should save time and make more people really happy. I am sorry for the trouble until that time. Please let me know if you need anything!

Sorry there is no set date for 2.0. I have made a few annoucements about the under going development but no firm time line or date is possible at this time. As it narrows I will be happy to up date the comunity further.

Actually Vista 64bit and XP 64bit are vastly different. It was debated at great length how Xp 64bit would preceed but in the end it simply could not be supported. Sorry for thet trouble.

Nothing to report I'm afraid. I tried to replicate the issue with a few accounts today. No roll backs reported. I'm not sure how you could have lost them. Please let me know if you see something like this happen again. Or if anyone does.

I just wanted to clarify the above statement of mine as when I reread it I see it makes only so much sense.
If you do have the same troubles please attempt to uninstall then reinstall Impulse just in case that the update did not take for you before posting.
This is meant for the times when Impulse is working, then you update, then you start having troubles. Impulse does not need to be reinstalled each time you update of course. However if you update and then get

Try de-installing Object Dock, running a registry cleaner, rebooting and then re-installing Object Dock. You may have a buggy Docklet installed or other problem that will have to be cleaned out.
