Please make certain that you include a link to this post when you create a ticket with us at support. We will be happy to look at this issue for you. On a seperate note have you any other computers available to you that you could try installing Impulse to? I would like to find out if this is an isolated event to just that one computer.

What version of Icon Packager are you on? The current beta contains the fix for that listed problem. In Impulse click on the Stardock Orb > preferances > then check "Show Pre-Release Versions. Then update Icon Packager.

Try applying the Areo theme again through MyColors. Once the theme applies attempt to restart the computer. If this does not resolve the issue please let us know at [email protected]. Also please let us know what theme you have installed.

There was some work being done on a BootVista however with SP1 coming out it was put on pause and certain criteria had to be met for it to go forward, or if it even would. At this time development is on pause. There will be news updates in the future on Wincustomize.com I'm certain.

Thank you I should have been more clear. If you downloaded from SDC you would have to uninstall with SDC, as you said above. However if you installed through download.com or the main website it should be listed in Add/Remove and would not require SDC or Impulse to remove it.

The only update available through Impulse that is not available at this time through SDC is the alpha build for 1.91. This is not an full update, this is a test build. You are not missing anything from this update. Theme manager is at version 2.50c. The last set of digits are different but this is not an update. Heh, I have no idea how I missed that post. Just doing my job. I often check in on the forums. I find most my my forum postings happen at night so I figure most of the customers do as well. Just seems logical. At my side is a tiny cat, a puppy, and my fiancee. I'm good :)

The free version should come out with add/remove through the control panel. If not try the SDC and Impulse suggestions above. If something is using the software actively you might need to boot into safe mode so that the software never launches and uninstall through there.
