To Onikazi: thats exactly what im talking about, i just wasnt sure how to put exactly that into words. To Calaban: in most of my games, the AI only uses Missles. no mass or beam ever.
wow, i haveny played xcom in years. the first two were great, but they really blew it with the rest of them
Tototot: why all the hostility? galciv2 is a great game, and MooII did have some pretty weak AI.
galciv2's engine is a whole lot better than MOOIII. and ive always wanted to customize the ships in MOOII
i have seen mods for Babylon 5 and Star Trek, but i havent found anybody doing a mod for MOOII. is there one planned?
i wish stardock had done MOOIII, atari destroyed the series. never played MoM.
i let them colonize the garbage planets in my influence. then i research all the influence techs and flip them at my earliest convenience.
we dont need more micromanagement with having to restock the ships. if it did it automatically, depending on fleet composition and supply lines, it would be interesting. but that would change the game alot. if you wanted to have a missle that would pierce the armor of the enemy and release deadly chemicals or nanobots, or something of that nature, makes a bit more sense. it would make having defensive techs a little more important
i would love some stealth tech for ships, and even starbases. it would be impossible to render a planet fully untracable, because the planets gravity would affect the wobble of the star in the system. and i loved fight against Darloks, why not some cloaked Drengin?
good and evil are just labels people use. whether for a purpose or out of ignorance. Altarians are really shifty in some of my games, and the dregin at least let you know where you stand with them. but what side gets what label? depends on the eye of the beholder
HAHA thanks for the laugh
agreed. i just hope im not missing the option in the menu
that sounds like a problem with the card more than it does with the game
when you forget to use the restroom until you quit the game. luckily i have a pretty straight shot to the bathroom
Ouch. Just Kidding. I Would Comment On The OP's Post, But It Would Give Me Gas
I sent some DNA in the mail. I'll want my pinkie toe back when youre done with it.
imagine landing the troop transport, and shooting your lasers through the windows. you did remember to build windows on your spacecraft didnt you? you lose the transport due to the fact that spaceships cant fly with open windows
why not give them some of your planets? kill off a neighbor for a fresh supply of planets, and give them to your buddy

for your sake, i hope they are more fun than mental
I love you guys! have my babies?
the units is in millions. so 2000 units would be 2 billion people. as for the transports dissappearing, you could explain it as the troops using the ship materials for construction of peacekeeping buildings or something of the like. If you win the invasion. if you failed the invasion, of course the survivng defenders are going to knock them down. if its really that much of a bother for you to build them, make cheaper transports
the delete button works great for me.
