Sorry i couldn't help Michael, i was looking through previous bug reports just to try and find something similar. A fresh reinstall is often the best cure, if not a painful one. Nor had i qrtxian, in fact iv'e never noticed any issues in the combat screen, but then i always set it to 10X so pay little attention, so i may have missed something...

Hmm, when i hover over where the post report button is, the mouse reacts as if the button is there.....and Yep! Clicking in that area brings up the report window. Ghosts in the machine...i reported the post. :)

I'm no good interpreting Debugg.err files, but often a clean out of your GC2 version folder in My documents/My Games will help. You want to back up the folder and then launch the game with a clean My games folder, just to see if it's something in there borking your game. Not that this is pertinent, but your Sound Drivers are well out of date, and even your graphics driver may well need updating too, April 2011??

I do want to submit a few MV games under TA, but yes, TA always for me was going to be my mod expansion. Your tech tree mod, Logics, high res mod and my own race mod (when i finish it) should make for a near total conversion (except for screens and the like, thats all fluff to me). thanks for the info though, i want to get a feel for the Terrans diplo power and may as well do it in TA and power on with influence as well. I never really played the Terrans, even in '06 on DL...th

Sorry Mina, i have paid no attention whatsoever to what happens with my score now. I post the game, grab the screenshot and don't look back. Wow...getting the extreme techs is nigh impossible straight up, i'm a little surprised you pulled it off. I think it's fair to say that the Terrans never have really been givin a good test drive, since they proved to be useless for Mumblers, i don't think anyone really thought to see what they are capable of. I wonder, what with the MCC doing what it's meant to, how much more powerful the Terrans may be in TA? I don't know if their tree is one of the borked ones or
