It's the existence of a limit, in knowledge, time, etc and last lifetime, that pushes a person to stretch them, outrun them, accomplish some goal(s), futile or not. Remove it and you'll end up with a bunch of empty sacks...

Uhhhm, I missed this, while this has some potential! Am I getting it right, a skin site where you can submit a preview/download, but not hosting the actual content ? This way relieving Tek of providing loads of bandwidth etc ? Pretty cool, and opening the way to have sections for every "smallware" effort being made and/or done in the past. Ofcourse, Skinbase has those sections too. Then again, this could be about history too. Like I've got this little thing for downloa

Congrats to tridcomm for handling this very mature. Basic dividing line: those who think of this whole (desktop custo) thing as fun, those who want some bucks (or anything, those who don't feel credit for helping is enough). That's a basic thing, a call for discussion on Wincustomize as a whole all the time, but we should just learn to ignore the "other" stream, let it live, don't discuss...

..but some pages ARE open and... ok, LS2K going would not only be a loss to the LS community - it's a nr. 1 news site for me too, not running litestep. Guys like jalist and rootrider keep some real news posting going, would hate to see that go...
