Who/what created God? I have stated that multiple times... No one can answer that question. That is far back as anyone can go.
How can you claim to know the origins of the universe but not what created your "God"? I'll post any more responses tomorrow, but I've gotta go now.
Please answer my "Space Shuttle" analogy.
Maybe you missed it, I did answer it in reply #196. To add to it, appearance of design is not necessarily and indicator of such. Look at the aerodynamics of a raindrop. Of course, not understanding the physics behind surface tension and air friction, you'll probably say "God" designed raindrops that way.
Again, I cannot explain how God came to be. That is beyond anyone's comprehension. That is something that we will
To believe that we "just happened", be it from a bolt of lightning or the Big Bang... would be the same as saying that the Space Shuttle just happened... there was this big pile of parts laying around somewhere, and a big explosion threw all the parts together into a working Space Shuttle.
The watchmaker argument is one of the worst there is. For one, though statistically improbable (almost impossible), it is very remotely possible for that watch/shuttle to happen
Who says that the appendix didn't serve some purpose while you were in the womb?
Who says it did? Appendix aside, I certainly would have made beings with good enough judgment to never have "fallen" in the first place.
No fair using stuff GOD created.
First you'd have to prove God created it. Maybe it has always been here.
YOU evolutionists just CAN'T answer this question
And you can't decide on a question. [quote
So.... tell me WHAT they are going to use "from SCRATCH"...
Not my post but I would guess stardust.
STILL doesn't answer the question
Did you give up your sense of humor with your reason? It is no trouble at all to "NOT accept an intelligent designer". Especially since I could have designed things much more intelligently. Anyone here need their appendix?
I have sins backed up onto 128 byte floppies that our compatible with the commodore 64! However there is a shit load of floppies and you will have to pay the s+h.
Ah man, if only my parents had bought the external floppy drive for our 64/128.
But who created the aliens?
No one created them, they just always existed outside of time (not that anything outside of time can not always exist). They used their advanced technology to insert themselves into our time stream, but lacking the reasoning capabilities we have developed to understand such things as cause and effect, they prompted crashed into that volcano the other poster was talking about. :p
Maybe because many people would not agree with the first Starcraft being the "greatest RTS" of any decade.
We are talking blizzard here.... They will do an impressive game

That would be a first...
Seriously, I have never seen what people love about Blizzard so much. While I wouldn't say they make crappy games, they've never made one that could hold my interest... and I am more of an OCD person than an ADD one.
playing games like
being on patrol would not change the likelihood of you being in the right place at the right time

I acceded that point...moving around still increases your chances of being in the right place at the right time over standing still. Granted you have an equal chance to be in the wrong place, but it's still better than doing nothing and sitting there.
How can you accede a point, and then immediately after state the contrary? If the chances of you being
I'll see you guys your Commodore64's and raise you a Vic20. Screw cartridges, I want it on audio cassette!
I loved Pax Imperia 2, I still play it on occasion. I know I played the hell out of IG2 also, but I haven't played it for years. I can't quite recall why I stopped, I think I was waiting for a patch that never came. I've played GalCiv2 quite a bit also, but I always end up playing the role of "ship designer" more than that of "emperor".
Well, the space could be the space available after all those other components were built in. Maybe a truely empty tiny hull (speed=0, etc...) would have space 30? As for cost, well that is simple. The tiny hulls are mass produced, this drives down costs. Adding components is like placing a special order, or having your car customized. Yeah, I know am blowing a lot of hot air, but it is just a game.
Eve-online is total waste of time. I played for a long time before I realized it was a dead-end. It has nothing like real strategy, just a good basic storyline. The items suk, the ships suk, the players are either total starry-eyed newbs or professional money-makers that manipulate the game to make profits on eBay selling the items they pick up from killing newb ships. Don't Use The Farce, Look. Couldn't the same
Homeworld always felt like it had a large enough "map" to allow time for thought. In the heat of battle things sped up, but by then if you didn't have the strategically appropriate units you were already screwed tactically. The only time I even noticed the maps had boundaries were when I captured all the enemy ion frigates in one of the last levels and tried to warp out to the next level. For those not in the know, or that can't recall, all your ships had to assume "pa
I loved Homeworld...still do. From what little I have heard of SOASE so far, it sounds interesting; but I am not the type to insist every new game be exactly like some other game I like either. (It's one of the biggest gripes I have against Starcraft fans, seeing as most games since it have just been clones and I never really liked it to begin with.) Who knows, by the time it comes out I may have found the time to play the newest batch of games I currently have collecting dust.
Umm, is somebody forgetting about "Homeworld"? You can pick anybody on the Sins forum and they will rip your head off for saying that, our pet hate is people comparing Sins to Homeworld since it has often been used in a derogatory fashion (which you didn't, good for you). Oooh, it is not even released and it already has fanboys?
Completely understandable, but that is kind of what makes Eve so special in my opinion. I never had a gaming moment more tense (and panicked) than when I was hauling cargo I spent my entire wealth on(albeit a very modest sum compared to more experienced players) in a brand new industrial ship, having pirates lock on and start firing at me...getting through the jump gate with 10% ship health and being thankful their teammates waiting for me on the other side didn't have webs. "Must go faster!" Ev
You say corrupt, I say powerful NPC (sort of). As you said, it has made the game more exciting. I always thought the devs were gonna go all out and be the Jovians.

Sounds like somebody got burned.
I have a x86 15 family model 12 stepping 0 authenticAMD 2009 mhz system with 1024mb ram and a gigabyte radeon 9600 pro 256mb ram video card. My wifes system is a p4 1.7 mhz with same ram and graphics as above. I wanted to buy a new graphics card recently but that idea got shot down in flames since i don't have 16x compatable motherboard! Then i looked at buying a new duel core system but with my finances i would have to compramise so
Which is why I usually check out forums and demos. A warning about Silverfall. As I said, I have not played it long enough to find if the complaining at their forum is warranted, but I have played it enough to know you need a halfway decent machine. My Althon X2 4400 w/ 2GB RAM, and a Geforce 7600 GT KO seems to get slightly sluggish at times...although it seems to run at a tolerable level on my wife's Athlon 3800 w/ 1GB RAM and a Geforce 6600LE.
I'm looking for games i can play with my wife... we enjoyed playing lionheart and dungeonsiege2 You could try the original Dungeon Siege, the wife and I finished both the original and expansion campaigns; but we never could get through DS2, didn't have the time and lost interest. I just recently bought a game called Silverfall. I haven't had a whole lot of time to play around with it yet, but I do believe it has the ability to do the cam
Perhaps a 3-month subscription would be enough. I am interested in creating my own POS "Player Owned Starbase", even if I'm only going to keep it online for a little bit. Unless Eve has changed drastically since I left about a year ago, 3 months aren't even enough time to acquire the skill set needed to singlehandedly construct a POS, let alone acquire the financial resources necessary.
