I actually have been looking for ways to avoid the use of this item, and there are several items in the Favor category that more than adequately replace it for you... For Regulus, Torch, UB ( haven't played rook) the 1st assasin dagger is more than enough For QoT and Torch I have also used the Cloak of Plentifull mana... the benefit is that this Cloak will give 400% mana recovery to your buddies too... I also see a lot of people not mentioning the Magus

There is a significant amount of tactical knowledge in UB and knowing precisely WHEN to go ALL IN and when to play cat and mouse... It can be really depressing when you experiment in your strategy early and go against your grain and find yourself facing someone that went the way YOU should have without monkeying around and then not having the ability to even cat and mouse anymore...(me this morning I set a new personal record for deaths and Zeb reaped the rewards )

I am stuck at 560 Favor points again. They WERE working and I progressed to the point where I got enought to get the cloak of plentiful mana (yum for Queen and Torch) I bought it and my favor hasn't advanced since. I have won / participated in 20ish games since.
