Bioware's support and loyalty amongst their customers is still pretty high, but more and more are jumping off the bandwagon for as long as they abide by EA's will in terms of DRM. Personally I did not buy Mass Effect and will not buy Dragon Age or any other product from Bio for as long as it is published by EA. I'd rather play another module for NWN.

Spartan, over on the Bioware Board people are going nuts over this particular statement and another one made by JR in which he states that 50% of the people who are condemming DRM must be pirates, where everyone knows that pirates don't give a flying fart about DRM coz they just crack or circumvent it and that's it. Right now there is a second class action suit against EA underway (apart form the Spore one) for the installation of SecuRom in Mass Effect without the customer's kn

Yeah, of course I was talking representatives rather than leaders. Still Delenn was also the rep for the Rangers later on while Marcus was never representing the Rangers. I definitely would opt for Sinclair as their rep. However, if not Sinclair I could possibly live with Sech Turval. ;) Well, a major race called The League of Non Aligned Worlds would probably be working if the ships of the Drazi, Brakiri, Vree, Gaim and the other races would be combined. Never neglect the game's te
But I still believe it would be better if you could replace the Anla'shok (Rangers) with either the Drazi Freehold or the Brakiri Krona. They are both races, whereas the Anla'Shok only is an organisation, like the PSI Corps. The Anla'shok would be perfect as minors...
Maybe they are both races but they don't have that much impact. The Anla'Shok however are THE driving force of the Interstellar Alliance. Therefore they ought to be a major race. Also the Rangers have mo

Good to hear, Rav. I was afraid real life was taking the better of your time as it does for me. Otherwise I would have tried to further the mod myself. Not that I have the nescessary knowledge yet but I would have tried to acquire it or ask the I-Mod crew for assistance. Not without asking you for permission though. One thing I'd like to ask: Are you going to revamp the mod just for TotA or also for DA? I'm not sure yet whether I want to get TotA or not.

Not sure but my guess is that the artificial planet mod and the HRGM crash coz they both use the planets related xml files if I'm not mistaking. My tip for this to find out: Install the HRGM and the artificial planets mod into different folders and check whether or not one or some of the file(s) is/are found in BOTH mod folders. That should be the essential hint to what's going wrong. I for one had to copy the parts concerning terrain/heightmap etc. in the xml for planet definitions (don

UNDER the "use mods" checkbox you also have to klick "change" to change the mod folder from default to the B5 Mod folder. Can't post a screenshot coz I'm not at home though. Sorry. @Rav: Finally had the opportunity to playtest the current version. One prob with the ships remains. The Vorlon ships don't show. At least there are no textures.

For the Star Wars Mod you will definitely need to do some green pulse laser effects with corresponding sound to emulate the imperial Turbo Lasers and orange ones for the alliance style Lasers if you feel like doing them a favor. I just wished I had the time and knowledge to supoprt rav with the B5 mod... Scheiss Arbeit! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Wink.gif" border=0 align="

The Brakiri and Drazi seem to me to be perfect examples of minor races so I demoted them. And having the Firstones as a major seemed a little too far from that authentic B5 feel. I'm all with you on that. But now on the screen on which you can choose which majors to play against some of the original GC2 races appear named A, Y, O, R. So in the next release you should probably take those out of the raceconfig.xml? Oh, and is there something like

Sorry I couldn't get back to you earlier rav, but I was skiing over easter. I've installed the beta 0.6 but didn't have much time to test it yet. One thing that immediately hit me though is that this time there are only EIGHT majors, and that while some minors have vanished completely the Drazi, Brakiri and First Ones are now minors. Is there any particular reason for that?

Rav, one question. Why does the model for the EF Nova look so bad. I mean, what are all those tubes on the left and right hand side. The one in previous versions of the mod looked far more like the original. No criticism, just a question. Also, I have to confirm that the invisible ships are not only a slight nuisance, but when my fleet engaged in a battle with an invisible fleet it caused my game to CTD upon entering the fleet battle screen or after the battle was over at la

I mean, to say that ground combat is a by-product of something bigger, well, that's just insane. Maybe you meant from a 'graphics' standpoint? *LOL* Sorry, for the confusion I may have caused. Of course I meant the graphical aspect of ground invasion. In e.g. in MoO3 there was no graphics to it at all. You just saw a grid, were able to choose from a variety of tactics and all that happened then was that you heard the sound of battle and saw yours and the

Well, I asked Spaxspore if he could do a new title animation. He hasn't commented yet, but one could at least hope. Oh, and I edited DAs Anomalies.xml to present more B5 quotes related to the anomaly type. I could send it to you if you're interested. Also, maybe you would want to consider integrating the high res mod into yours. It's quite easy. Just put the files into the B5 mod folder a

Dont you find the current system atleast bit hilarious? Throwing billions of citizens into transports with laser guns and off you go! Probably, yes. But to be honest, I don't really care about ground combat in this game. For me the interest lies in other parts. Ground combat is just a by-product.

Well well, here's my two cents worth of comment concerning DA and some people's comments. Most of the new features and improvements in DA make it worth the investment, especially for future (B5) modding. BUT I also have to agree heavily on the lack of depth in the UP and espionage. As big a fiasko as MoO3 was, it implemented these features MUCH better than DL/DA. However, I will give
