Please, Boreen, make some cursors for the suite before Buzz shows up and starts making 1024*768 cursors! BadIce

Because brown starts with a B, we should have a lead designer who's name also starts with a B. /me tries to dreamup old school skinner names starting with B... Bafo? Bhoggot? Boreen? Bransmutate? BadIce? Nah... Ah. Of course! BoXXi! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/lol.
No doubt about the color. It should be brown
BoXXi: If you need a hand with the DXPlayer object then I'll be your man. If you do the graphics then I will assemble it.
Elfkura: It would have been wise to speak with the people you wanted to speak with in the first place. A melodramtic "Bye" thread could have been avoided. You are a prominent face on this site. And a statement by you that something is wrong with this site may have (a negative or positive) impact, because you are a respected member of this site. You know that... I try to avoid being involved in discu
Just a snapshot of an average IRC conversation (Buzz_Hog): shit.... I just poked myself in the face with my fork..... (Buzz_Hog): that frickin hurt (The_Snowman): (MadIce): haha (Buzz_Hog): I need a refresher course on eating
Don't hit China's fonts!
Nice to see Buzz_Hog back gain. I remember buying a second monitor just to accomodate his huuuuuuuuuuge (640x480) cursors for CursorEx (in the pre-CuresorXP days). Also handy for Shoggot's rotating 24 frames/sec cursors.
sig101 is right. The trial version does not skin scroll bars.
Ah. The power of grey... Congrats, Jafo
With DXPlayer you were able to control ObjectMedia (Stardocks media player) by adding individual objects (like a play button or equalizer fader). When you designed a full featured player that has a lot of these objects (lets say 30 or 40 or more) then one could see "after images" while dragging the object and one could see some CPU usage increase. Therefore DX1 was limited to simple player objects. With the new technology all these side effects are gone, CPU usage has been reduced significantly
No problem And oh, remember: WB4 is for XP. There will be a version for other versions of Windows shortly. Have fun.
I payed by money order. Of course that isn't very fast, but that had little to do with Stardock. There is no need to subscribe to WB. ObjectDesktop is a little different. All products that will be released for it will be yours for $50. That includes WindowBlinds, DesktopX and ObjectBar. There is no need to subscribe for the next year ($35), but of course you will not receive any upgrades in that year. BTW: Why are you so negative about SD and still want to buy their pr
I don't get it either. I am responsible for SDPlayer/ObjectMedia, but I don't support any of these players.
You know what this implicates, don't you? All skins from now one have to be related to F1 racing or otherwise it will be removed from the site Congrats, Paul.
/me hops over and is investigates Success guys...
OK. Those are rather old versions. Would you like to try ObjectMedia (new name of SDPlayer) instead? You can download it from Stardock Central. It will install a new version of DXPlayer too. DXPlayer wasn't the cause of your problem, but maybe SDPlayer was. Please try ObjectMedia and mail me ([email protected]) when you still have the problem. BTW: You can check the DesktopX version by opening SDC. Click t
No. But I am rather interested in that. Can please give me more details. What are you shutting down? Windows or DesktopX? What version of Windows, DesktopX and DXPlayer do you have? Are using ObjectMedia, SDPlayer, WinAmp or CoolPlayer? And what versions does the player you use have have?
A typical case of a PBKC
Being a bloody foreigner myself, I can understand the point. Windows is localized in several languages. And for good reasons. People like to work in their own language. And it would be great to have software in your own language too. American companies often do not see the point. Stardock is no different. However, some of SD's products, like CursorEx (Italian lead programmer) and SkinStudio (Polish lead programmer), do allow one to translate the software. Remember, that localizing software can b
It is not. SkinStudio kan really help you. The hardest part is the design. Go for it and let us know how your doing.
Scroll bars are only skinned in the registered version.
Jafo is right. Also, there are no plans for a WA3 remote. There seems to be a converter for plugins like this, but I don't have that info here. Maybe someone else can remember it.
And of course visiting my sister on sunday. I do that every sunday for the last 25 years or so.
