building larger ships means you need to have a solid manufacturing base so you can build large warships quickly if your at war..you also need a stable economy to support the costs of large ships and the manufactering infrastructure and future upgrades to them..tiny hulls are cheaper to build and you can spam the map with them but it all depends on the kind of game you play..what may work for the drengin may not neccesarily work for you. when this happens i regroup my fleet and switch production to transports..but what ive learned to do is i always keep around a dozen or so transports spare incase the JK show up that way usually in the turn they show up i reclaim most if not all my planets...or just reload a previous save. i know its an age old question ..but im seriously thinking of getting a mac instead of a PC which I have been using for years...but before i part with a small fortune for either,I want to ask you guys what it is you prefer between the two and why. Any advice would be welcome. thanks.
