I find Asteroids to be most useful in times of war, when I can jack a planets military production way up and divert all roids to that one planet, I started pumping out ships very fast, without having to outright buy them
you sure you werent GIVING them away? that would just make my day for a good laugh but seriously, if this is new in DA it needs to be fixed or else metaverse will be perma-screwed in the next week, and i haven't even been able to get on it yet! (my own fault for not having any time)
I started playing last night at around 6pm. I just finished and it's 9am here. you suck i mean that in the kindest way possible i wish i had that kind of time on my hands!
While the books aren't spectacular, I recently read the Halo trilogy (and am now reading Ghosts of Onyx) and they are pretty darn good, not many epic space battles, but they are fairly fast reads and fun to boot.

most likely not the box stardock has been showing, its just a cd with a PDF manuel included on the cd, its just for those of us who are obsessive about having hard copies

thats the problem, they DID plan for the time they THOUGHT would be necessary to finish it, but it turned out to need a lot more time... no one had (or has) ever done this before, so they had nothing with which to gauge how long this would take... it will most likely get done, it just couldn't be by final commercial release, but heck, they updated DL 4 different times (major updates anyway) so perhaps before 2.0 we will see the Epic Generator.

I really don't think its a question of whether or not anyone's processor can handle it, i think its more a question of how long you are willing to wait on the computer opponents to make their move.

so your serial does meet all the requirements kryo mentioned above? and when you input it into the proper box following the "register" link below you get an error that it is not a legit code? you are inputing it without dashes and without spaces, right? weird have you tried to download the update/register through stardock central? and don't forget to focus your planets, when you are done with all your improvements, if your not at war, focus the ones you can on research, this will give you a temporary boost to help you research the tech branch of the tech tree

I have only one into that error once, never again... try going out to download.com and downloading a program called freeRAM XP Pro - it is a ram monitoring program that can be programmed to auto-free your ram every x number of minutes. i've got mine set to free the ram every 30 minutes, it causes a momentary (5-10 second) lag in the system when it does so, but it makes sure that your ram is as free as possible
