Eh? WTF??? My laptop and my desktop have different username and password memorized. Looks like I made two accounts here..but I don't remember doing that.
Made the fixes. 1.09 is now up.
Indeed. Just go into VaynarImprovements.xml and find Art_Cathedral . It should be "Art_OHF_Cathedral" Same for the Church. How the hell did I miss this?
I don't think the it's because it's the only new path. I play the game with Mages and Demons and it adds a summoner. I can see both the summoner and paladin paths just fine.
If it sez "You shouldn't be having this", then it should be obvious, no? [e digicons][/e] I used it for testing, but forgot to remove it from the sovereign. Regarding the icons and the path: I'm not having those problems, as both show up to me. I'm playing with a bunch of mods too. Could it be that one of your mods is causing problems? So the question would be: Which mods are you playing with? you
Heh...where to begin While your allies can fight the read lords they are mostly useless... Firstly, they havea tendency of colonozing every available planet in the vicinity, forming a ring around you at the very begining of the mission nad preventing your expansion...Researching tech takes A FRIGGIN LOT when you only have 2 planets to work with...not to mention that your allies, to whom you graciously give tech and money to keep them alive, never give you any tech back. <br
They can be usefull.. Actually, I mostly use smaller ships. I make strike forces of heavy fighters (nano rippers and disruptors with those 6 points shields) that simply tear the enemy to shreads
Strange...whenever I play a game (usually with 7-8 opponents) I'm having a hard time surviving. Despite the fact that I make my race very creative and research orianted, and that I prioritize research and build labs (researching their upgrades as fast as I can), the AI race ALLWAYS have more tech than me..a lot more.. It's like they started with more techs than me..
Upgrade costs are redicolously high. It costs me far more to upgrade the ship than to build it! I mena, upgrading my heavy fighter (which costs 168bc) cost me far more then that. More then ALL of my trade routes COMBINED can bring in in a MONTH. Talk about nonsense...
Yeah..I kinda miss that too
There are a lot of games out there that had both strategic AND tactical combat - and were very sucesfull...like Birth of hte Federation..the Total War series.. Catering to a bigger player base is a smart thing, and frankly, if you don't know how to use a game aspect effectivly, you don't have to use it. The trick is to add enough option to hte combat to gtive player some influence, while at the same time making those options simple and limited enough that a AI can be scripted to use t
* long reply * Ups...sorry about the multiple post.. On my end I kept getting some error and my post didn't show up, so I thought it didn't come trough..guess I was wrong. Now to adress the issues: 1. I don't see what's wrong with tactical combat. It's a FUN and STRATEGIC thing. Jsut becouse you (or some
I enjoy playing GalCiv2 so far, but there are some aspect where it could preform much better. Let's start: 1. SHIP COMBAT - the ability to have some degree of control over the battle (could be researched - like Remote Field Command tech). Something like in Birth of the Federation. Basicly you can select a single ship, all ships of the same class or a group of ships that fit the same category (command ship, scouts, fast attack ships, assault ships, non-combat..) a
