Can't get a higher difficulty level medal in Metaverse GalCiv2 Forums

well, I know it's been asked before and I really don't want to search the forums... ok, I played with a higher difficulty level then my medal is showing, I now play on obscene, (well, for now in single player but I will get to it...) so on crippling, and it still showing: "Challenging" but I passed that level long time ago... any comments?
