Thanks. I will have to look a little closer at the buttons to see if I can tell the differance. Will it let you choose a trait you already have?
I have just purchased the game and love it. I am having some difficulty understanding choosing the traits for your Heros when you can upgrade them. When the screen appears with the choices for a new trait a lot of buttons are highlighted. For example level 1 and 2 of a particular magic branch are lit. Can I just go right to level 2 for my first choice or do I need to go in order? also some traits I have already chosen are still highlighted. How do you kn
I don't know if this has been reported. I am using a retail version of the game and patch 1.2. I have had a problem with the mini-map. It occurs after gaining a planet by influence conquest using an influence starbase. Twice I have had the mini-map have the small blue box that shows where you are just reproduce itself all over the mini map and once I had a bunch of whited out areas. The problem clears if I save, quit and restart.

I wish you could build a starbase on top of a planet to defend it.
Sometimes there are just to many fleets to attack in one turn and make it back home
I was playing with a large map and the map just changed in mid game. I lost the grid, movement line, stars, nebula fog etc. The only thing showing on the main map were the ships and the stars/planets that the ships could see. Any idea what happened?
I find them annoying too. What if you could influence capture or conquer starbases? If you could do that then they would need to be built in areas you could defend.

I keep defending against a fleet attacking my planet one ship at a time even if I have a few ships on a planet. Is there a way to get my ships to defend a planet as a fleet?

I purchased the game at EB Games and installed it on my home computer. I would like to also install it on my work computer for the really SLOW times we have now and then. Is this allowed?

It appears to happen to all videos, even the intro. What is odd is the video itself runs great, no choppiness or anything. I have update 1.1 installed. I think it's set for full screen. I'm at work so I'll check when I get home.
I just installed a retail copy of the game. The sound with the videos is very choppy. The videos run fine. I don't have a disk in the computer because I'm not sure which disk to put in., 1 or 2. Would having a disk in help? If so which one? Any other ideas on how to fix this? Thanks, Marty
