I am playing Tec and I have no ships capable of capturing them. they will then move to an asteroid and sit there. They show up in my fleet cap but weirdly don't count against it. I cant sleect or control them. Anyone else seen this?

I will say regardless of the difficulty the AI still does things that are incomprehensible to me. For one, they don't build star-bases in the Solar gravity well, regardless of settings. I just finished a game against 3 vicious and nothing. They also will not attack a pirate base if you double it up in galaxy forge. Cannot understand that all. They will set on the closest planet with 1500 in fleet cap and do nothing. Now if I build anything they will att

Aside from almost giving me seizures the brightness of this type needs toned down if possible. Its cool to look at but after trying to fight a battle with a strobe in the background it is almost vomit inducing. Can we turn that off when in the planet screen or if possible tone the brightness down.. alot? If not the next collectors edition better have SOSE inspired advil. BTW, love everything else, -Jason

"I dont like this thread but I am going to post anyway". Fine, I'll play your game... The problem is that with say, 200 illuminators or any other small vessel is that the starbase or anything else can only attack a certain number of targets, no where near c

just occurred to me today, yes I am sloow. But why do ships just run up and stop in combat? Aside from the game standpoint I dont there has been a naval engagement in the past century where ships just wheeled up to one another, dropped anchor, and then pounded each other to oblivion. With spaced based mechanics you wouldnt stop, nor could you even if you wanted to. It would be alot more interesting if they kept moving, turning, and wailing on each other (advent liter

You are probably right but it really never fails, ie haven't seen them split yet. In my custom map I just went back to ice/volcanic random.

[quote who="harpo99999" reply="5" id="3240487"]the latest map visible to other users is the solar empire by wallab dated 9-5-2012. it is due to stardock having to approve each item in the wincustomise downloads area, all we can do is to wait till stardock approves the map. I also hit this exact issue back when I was initially releasing my map updater and other utilities, which is why I stopped using the winustomise and use other filehosting and eventually dropbox simply

WC rocks. Just not the movie. My true first action game aside from Silent Service 2. Rocked my old 386sx-16 back in the day with that massive 1mb of ram. I think I still dream about the pilots running to their ships cut scene before every launch :)

Hi, Thanks for the guide, I have been using it for a few months now and I really appreciate it. I just uploaded my first map but couldn't get the triggers to work. Is there a tutorial for those? I want to create even more advanced maps with late game surprises ala MOO and Simcity. My Map: https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/sins_maps/372/ -Jason

(if I posted this in the wrong forum I apologize) Bellatrix Cluster Map: https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/sins_maps/372/ Overview: This cluster was once a TEC system but was abandoned many many years ago when the Vasari invasion cut off all supplies. The remaining humans turned feral and most became members of warring pirate clans battling

in gf when creating planets if RandomTrue...Fair is selected then the planets for a player will all be the same type of planet. For example if the first discovered planet is a Ice planet then the others will be as well.
