Used the stardoc central manager to update the game, but can't find where it shows if it's 1.2(b)009 or not, which is the update from late last night (early morn 5/27). Seems though that since trying this the cheat codes aren't working either. I don't care much, but no idea why this is the case too. Any ideas? Thx for any help
Sorry if I seem thick, but I'm not getting this. I've tried this a few times int he game (just got it last night so I've the latest 1.2 version). I a few issues. 1)I try to make a new ship design, and any visuals (eye candy I guess) to make the ship look different or cool, doesn't show after I've saved the design. It simply shows up with the new name (and new components) as the basic template that I started with. What am I doing wrong <img src="smiles/Mad.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddl

I actually downloaded and even just now updated to the new 1.2 Still, is there a guide? I don't think I'm doing things correctly, and I've no idea (just got the game last eve). Can anyone perhaps give me a basic rundown on what to do to make unique ship designs? I'd appreciate it very much. THX!
This is awesome, the whole thread. However, I can't seem to do this myself. Can anyone point me to a guide for newbs on how to design these visual masterpieces. The game doesn't help much and when trying to cusotmize my own designs in game, it doesn't seem to save. Is there a guide to unique ship building? I think I've grasped how to build them with the actual upgraded components but I can't seem to save any updates I make to the look of the designs. Can anyone give me a quick run thru on what you do, or point me to a newbie guide? I'd love to start modeling some cool designs like I've seen people posting here. THNX!!
