as some of you might know, Friday saw the release of SOASE: Rebellion ultimate on GOG.com. However, the MP aspect has been iffy from the get-go along with the DLC not being implemented right. On Friday, I was able to get into a lobby with 0 people and then subsequently later on got the "old version of Sins detected ensure you have the latest version". I have verified my cache in the galaxy client as well as done a un-install/re-install. Also broken is the random events

I'm also in the camp of wanting my elite founder key redeemable on GOG.com. The problem Stardock has is with people trying to resell the key to GMG or cdkeys.com among others. If push comes to shove, I will do the following: buy the base on GOG.com, copy everything else over (thus hopefully including the DLC now and in the future), and see what happens. I'm in the boat of wanting to play SOASE and it's expansion via GOG galaxy (hopes for non-expert human people a
How would I go about looking at the GDI/user handle memory leak areas. What it probably looks like is it might be the OS doing a RAM leak as trying to put something on the clipboard freezes nightly (fir fox x64). I also was trying to look at updates to see which ones were from september/october and going to uninstall just those. Right now Nightly has over 200 tabs open and RAM says 330.6 MB. For plugins is it 459.6. It is worth nothing that right now IE freezes when I type in the search bar a
While using start8, after about 12 hours of use, I would have the following things occur after updates issued a couple weeks ago. 1: Final Fantasy XIV and Starcraft 2 would freeze upon logging in or starting a game (sound would play but I could not move or do anything), firefox would load up the tabs but freeze on a refresh of them, explorer would randomly freeze up or freeze when I typed a letter in the search box. I also have had the start menu freeze with typing in the search b
I'm interested in the WL2 key for GOG. Thanks for the opportunity. You might want to check your DLC on steam as people are reporting not having all 5 and a comment said to contact support
got my own info to put in. Not a crash per se but a game freeze. OS: Windows 7 pro. GPU: Geforce GT 550Ti. Turns 100+. Civs 3 (total). Size: large. VRAM: 1 GB The problem is a freeze where it is processing the AI turns. I tried debug and rolling back but it froze. I forget colony count but map was NOT fully colonized-that I am 100% certain of
Ok, thanks. But it would be nice if Steam would allow two players to play one game in the same LAN (with family sharing). Right now it tells you that someone is already logged in/playing and kicks the other one. [e digicons]:)[/e]
it would be nice but I doubt that'll happen at all. That makes the system ripe for abuse
after updating the game in Steam, there is a loop of trying to launch the game. I did a re-install and verification. The game doesn't even boot for a crash log. This is after the latest update. Fixed with a Steam restart
Sorry Wiz, lost the game... Joined Darca... game just crashed... will reenter for anyone else to play...
make a suppourt ticket. Game did a CTD on my end as well seliore
I'd like to ask for it too however in the form of a trainer more like. You press the ~ icon and the console pops up. A command like show_fps could function to show the fps in a situation. Another command could be spawn_shipname or research_techname (insert ship names or techs) to spawn the ship for testing. Another option would be to have a hotkey for all research completed. Spawning planets and stars COULD also be done this way but the alpha testers would ne
I do have family sharing with ultimate install for the OP to try. The only concern I have is what may happen if the OP tried to activate it. As for playing the first, it's not worth it because II improves on it in so many ways. The ultimate edition is what I got and that comes with all expansions right outta the box and is half off right now on Steam. Another way to look at buying the game is IF you got FE and LH for FREE, look at the $100 edition as simply buying
now this may seem like a stupid question but I am sure there is at least one other person here in it. I am in the steam family sharing beta and am wondering IF the alpha shows up for other people that I authorized, should I ask them to test the game as well or will the game be flagged so it will not be shared. I cannot wait to play it myself
regarding system requirements yes I agree on the CPU minimum. RAM I don't. 4 GB is maximum of what a 32-bit OS can manage. Since this is a x64 enviroment, I would say minimum is going to be probably 6 GB. GPU I'd agree with the vRAM and card. Stardock does have another thing to consider when developing. They need to setup a RAM limiter option so the game doesn't FULLY use all the RAM inside a system and cause it to freeze. This is a point
I once bought a game without looking at the min req's to see if it would run because it looked fun. That game required DX11. My PC supports up to DX10. This is something that would make or brake me pre-ordering the game. If it doesn't have DX10 suppourt, I won't be pre-ordering. I pray it does have DX10 support along with a limit for the amount of RAM it can use on a system
so let me get this straight: I will get this expansion through steam for free because I pre-ordered FE. I get that part. The part I do not get is that I got FE direct from Stardock so if the game says on the store page, "This requires the base, Fallen Enchantress bought from Steam" I will get a Steam key for FE as well?
Well, IF you purchased through steam, the map pack is available for download in Steam. So I would go right to steam and purchase it. Did you register your key with Stardock?
it's up because I am downloading the 3.5 GB installer @2.7 MB/s. If so many others were not downloading, I could be maxing my download speed of ~3 MB/s (kidding but I expect it to slow down). As of 1:05 PM EST the installer is live
I've gotten a lot of questions from people over the past couple of years about why we are giving away Fallen Enchantress to the early adopters of War of Magic. They say people won't remember War of Magic (it was 2 years ago). They say it won't "buy" good will back from those who didn't like WOM. I do remember when WoM was only an idea on the forums. I do remmeber when there were
actually I just downloaded Fallen Enchantress-0.950_update.exe at 1:10 PM eastern time. AKA update is out (343 MB FYI)
341 MB of the patch is the intro cinematic FYI. I suggest making a BACKUP of that in case they decide to revert back again and do another 'jedi mind trick' on us, reverting to a prior build
the application failed to start because CRYPT32.dll was not found. Got this error for DeElevate.exe. Running Vista Ultimate x64 with latest updates. The application shows NO software, beta option ebaled or not (and I should ave a few show up since the website shows them).
if you got MPC:HC and leatest KLCP build, you can watch the unconverted .bik file in it without downloading the .bik file player
After the latest update, I am getting the error in the following screenshot: http://steamcommunity.com/id/76561197962508906/screenshot/576700159657344648?tab=public . I don't know if any else is getting it, but there's nothing I can do to fix it. Happens with my firewall off as well so something on the ICO side wasn't updated
well since I am unable for whatever reason to watch the intro IN-GAME, I used a external player to do so with no problems in playback I couldn't fix myself. To me, the music was fine and I could hear everything nicely
I have a delayed launch on my PC as well. It can take 20-30 seconds for the inital ESRB disclaimer to startup and I am running a NVIDIA card. Perhaps it is related to a specific NVIDIA driver set or card?
