I'm kind of anoyed you posted that last screenshot actualy, i probably wouldnt have noticed, but now the blue tint will anoy me. [e digicons]>:([/e] It's like how when you like a sitcom, then someone points out the recorded laughter, and then you cant help but notice it, and how anoying it is.
A common misconception.
No you misunderstood me, although to be fair i wasnt very clear. I was talking about character, not quality or ingenuity. It's somthing thats hard to put your finger on. Kind of like steam trains to electric, propeller planes to jets. You make good points, but it wasnt really what i was talking about. :) It's just a personal thing really.

Not worried about the level cap, i only played through 1 & 2 to the end, I think in diablo 2 i finished just below 40. I am worried that my favourite part(the story & cutscenes) wont be as good in this as D2 though, if SC2 compared to SC is anything to go by :(

@OP As much as people like to claim their view is the majority, there is no way to find out what the player consensus is. So you can't really compare the two. But if im being less pedantic about the question id say a reviewer opinion is one from someone that wont play the game outside of their job. (If they do play the game outside of their job then technically their opinion is a player opinion.) and thats why there is a difference.
Quoting Tasunke, reply 23 as far as I can tell, Warhorses could still give extra HP and armor ... (after the engine is made better) ... in lieu of no longer being needed to "unlock" the new abilities. But yea, my vote is for getting it (the way you want it) the first time. We'll be selling the armor for horses as a separate $9.95 purchase so we can't really combine the horse AND the armor.<br

Agree completley with the OP. I just want to play the same game as single player, with friends. That's all. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] Stardock seems to have a really twisted over complicated view on multiplayer. I think it's one of those weird things you get with some people where they can perform the most amazing complicated tasks with ease, but give them somthing simple to do and they just don't get it.
The day 0 multiplayer does not have tactical battles in them. We took them out. Yes, in an ideal world we could have made this an option, but anyone who has been on a forum for any amount of time knows that you'd still have people flaming us who found tactical battles boring because while the other guy was fighting some drawn out battle, they were stuck watching it.
You didnt have a tactical battle option because someone might

Ive been thinking about getting this, but im not sure id be able to give it the time it'll need at the moment, with elemental out soon and then civ5 the month after, ill probably get it after playing those to death. Ive played, EU1 & HOI2&3 and liked them all, but they do put me in 'hermit mode' :)

Very Bad taste, very insensitive. But then there's no law against being an insensitive idiot, nor should there be. Also, MoH is rubbish anyway, so its obviously just for attention, itll help sell copies to kids.
For me ... Building your own kingdom, with the various 'costs' just as we have with our Sovereign is pretty important. i don't care that I have a frog looking character, but I am interested making choices between 'combat' and economic styles of play... and tweaking my kingdom to support that. And I like the program 'enforcing' my choices ... i.e. I only have 50 'points' to spend.
I agree.

Is there a chance the ingame Faction/Race editor will return at somepoint? in an expansion or patch or somthing? :( Its not that i cant be bothered to use xml, its just that people i play with are more likely to accept my race as balanced if it's made in game using a points system.

There's loads of ways it could be used in multiplayer. It could be used for "out of character" human to human trades/diplomatic actions. For example setting up a trade as a Kingdom with an Empire could cost X points. Breaking a treaty prematurely could cost X points. Declare war Kingdom vs Kingdom or Empire vs Empire could costs X points. All tech trading could have an inbuilt point cost to prevent it becoming abused as it often does.</p
It won't be done. It'll never be done. Games are released and judged but they shouldn't be considered done. Someone should try out the retail CD of Galactic Civilizations II and compare it to now. It's embarrassing.
I bet that quote wont be going on the box :p
