I'm 44 and I play with my Wii constantly. You'd think that by now I'd have worn my Wii out, but I haven't. It's still something I have to do every day. Sometimes several sessions depending on how I feel. Agreed. I find lately, though, that it's easier and much more satisfying to let someone else play with my Wii. I'm selfless like that. Plus, my hands get sore.

Thanks, Neilo... I am now signed up to the Core. Guess I need to wait for our private forum to be started. Not sure about those names, frankly, heh. "The Blade Runners" sounds fine, though. One of my favourite films, and starts with a 'B' -- good enough for me! Or, we could just call ourselves "The Winners of the League". But perhaps that would be getting ahead of ourselves, and might make the other teams feel inadequate compared to us. Justifiably so, but still...

There is really nothing you must be. And there is nothing you must do. There is really nothing you must have. And there is nothing you must know. There is really nothing you must become. However, it helps to understand that fire burns, and when it rains, the earth gets wet. Don't forget that rock beats scissors. Scissors beats paper. Paper beats rock. Armour beats Mass Drivers. Therefore God exists. Prove

Yeah, sorry... a geocities bible site really isn't a good enough reference for your claim, but thanks. Look, I don't want to insult your intelligence, danielost , but I'm becoming rather annoyed by the many bizarre claims you keep making in this and other threads. It's one thing to believe something; it's another thing to state something as a fact... when it is very far from being one.

You have a gift. I'm really enjoying this. One suggestion: With a billion Terrans invading another planet, you would be more likely to have Singhs and Chens fighting than Jenkins and Higgins. Of course, there could be a good reason for all of the original soldiers having Anglo names -- the marine units would have to be organized assuming the group all speak the same language. Anyway, worth mentioning, I think. I look forward to the next installments.

Hello, spunkrawker . I've sent your character an invite to the empire. Welcome aboard, sir. And I see you are yet another Canadian! Is GalCiv2 dominated by old Canadians? Weird. Where are you guys, by the way? I said it above, but I am in Windsor, the armpit of Ontario.

I haven't noticed Super Manipulator being a problem, really, but I do wonder about its efficacy in comparison to Super Diplomat. Doesn't the latter's diplomacy bonus effectively provide the same ability to manipulate other races into war but while also providing so much more? Why would anyone choose SM over SD? Without seeing the numbers, I can't say for sure, but it does seem a bit odd to me, as each super ability should be balanced w.r.t. all other super abilities, as much as is possible.

You don't need to be Canadian to be in the Gerontocracy, heh. I have sent you an invite, Olde Mann . Welcome aboard. Welcome also to Captain Yar, who someone else must have invited. Good to have you with us in this struggle against, err, youth or something.

Hehe, i do security work, so all i have to do is just sit there. So i read, watch movies or play the laptop....all the while being paid!!!! That must be the most secure building anywhere! I work midnights too, by the way. I've read 50 books so far this year. And written one!

I was an angnostic for 25 years then a confirmed atheist for 15 years, and a born-again Christian for 4 years. Believe me, God does exist. Just look around. You think all this (the total of existence) came from nothing? Even I don't have that much faith. Hope you find what you're looking for, but you won't find it in Man ... that's a guarantee From a former Randian (as in Ayn) I have no interest in being converted myself, but I am very interested in what

I really like rpg's like Planescape: Torment. It wasn't one of those cookie cutter Rpg - but instead really pushed the boundry in terms of story development (What!?, not saving the world, universe, cosmos from destruction?!) and use of characters to further the plot. Awesome game. Fantastically written, with so much detail and hidden depth to it.

Take the top of your zipper and pull down slowly. Be very careful not to do it too quickly or you may find yourself in some unexpected pain. (Or, you can use programs like WinRAR or the like.)

You write very well, sir. Maybe I'll post some of my short science fiction; it's not really GalCiv related, though, nor is most of it mil-sf. Not sure if that would bother anyone or not, to be honest.
