Nearly had a heart attack when you mentioned this may be going into the GUIO '04 That two months away! Curse my impatientness! Custom colours are hard to get right. No idea if this would work, but you could just make masks for the areas that you don't want changing (like the close button) and let the force custom colour option handle the rest? If Linux came preinstalled and properly setup like some new Windows machines, then yes, it could go mainstream. (bare with me here) Real life experiment. Just over a year ago, my brother (one the of the real Linux nerds) gave my mum a PC with Redhat installed. It was his old PC that he wiped clean and put a fresh install of Redhat on. Although I've stopped using docks for the time being, I would call (IMO) Yz Dock better becuse of the Docklets. ObjectDock runs much smoother, but I like the idea of Docklets.
