Interesting discussion point so I’ll throw my 2 cents into the conversation. From a legal standpoint Paramount has every right to ask us to stop working on a Star Trek mod for Gal Civ 2. If that would ever happen we would be more than happy to comply. I’m a huge Star Trek fan so I wouldn’t want to do anything that would considered detrimental to the Star Trek universe. With that being said I would find it highly unlikely that Paramount would take any legal action against anyone. Paramount h

@CobraA1 Well considering our website was hacked for a 3rd time I'm not surprised. Someone just doesn't want us to work on the Star Trek mod. I don't know if the hackers are jealous or what but it's a minor pain. Don't worry folks these attacks are pointless and we won't give up on the mod.

@Cobra A1 Thanks for the input. You shouldn’t need an activation email to complete the registration to log into the forum. I’ll double check to be sure. After reading your post you do seem pretty critical of the mod. Please keep in mind that we’re not professional game makers. We’re just doing this in our spare time. We’ve also had to fight through some tough odds to get to this point in the mod development. Is the mod perfect? No but something could always be better.

As far as I'm concerned this was a dead topic. It isn't my team that keeps bringing it up. Really I have no time for such meaningless conversations. I have better things to do like work on Star Trek Gal Civ 2!

After I settled down a while I decided to put my 2 cents in. @Master U I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt. It’s quite obvious that the English language isn’t your first language so please be careful with your sentences. @Terraner05 I think there is a lot to be cleared up here. I have been very quiet regarding this subject but I feel the need to speak up. The reason why we decided to start another mod was the fact that there was very little direction in t

You can't keep us down for very long!!! We have a new forum to use for the time being. It's located here: WWW Link Many of you may remember it as the first forum we used. It's not as flashy as the last one but it will do the trick for the time being. If you already setup an account on this forum there is no need to register again. See you there.

Official Announcement: Because of the actions of a few select individuals the rest of you will now have to wait a little longer for the next release. The website was hacked by a bunch of amateurs in an attempt to derail the mod. Rest assured we have all our data backed up and we’ll resume working on the best Star Trek mod the Gal Civ 2 community has ever seen. If you know of any information regarding this criminal act please contact myself or Renfl. Thank you

Cool ships. We used some of those also. Would be nice to see them in game screenshots. Keep up the good work.

Terraner, Actually there are many different people that have placed their ships on battleclinic. Some people took the existing models from Star Trek games and changed them while other people created totally new models.

Just a friendly reminder. If you intend on using other peoples models in your mod, remember to get their permission first. Nothing to worry about legal wise it's just polite. These folks spent alot of time on their models so make sure you give them their full props.

I'm currently working on the Star Trek mod which is coming along quite nicely. Once that is close to being completed we will focus on the Star Gate mod. There are alot of SG models on the way. Due to people misusing my conversions I won't be releasing any models until the mod comes out. Sorry guys. Don't worry the wait won't be very long.
