So far, the most accurate Vista port that I have found is Vista 2.2 by Jemaho. I am running a dual-boot of Vista 5472 and XP(with Vista2.2 by Jemaho, of course...), and the WB skin makes XP as close to Vista as it has been for a while...(of course i have ports of the Sidebar, screensavers, cursor, explorer.exe, etc.)

I have no idea why I am posting this...I guess its about the Intel Core 2 Duo stuff. I have a Notebook PC, running a dual boot of Windows XP Pro SP2 and Windows Vista 5472. My CPU is a new Intel Core 2 Duo set at 2.4GHz. I have 3GB of DDR2 RAM and a 500GB Hard Drive. What would you guys rate this from 1 to 10, 1 being the worst and 10 being the best?

First of all, use Vista 2.2 by Jemaho for WindowBlinds. http://www.deviantart.com/view/37092344 If you want the Sidebar, or at least something VERY close to it, then I reccommend A Vista Sidebar. http://www.joejoe.biz/joejoe/load/index.php?dlid=633 For the Live Taskbar Thumbnails, use Visual ToolTips. http://www.joejoe.biz/joejoe/load/index.php?dlid=28 Also, use the default settings for WindowFX from StarDock. For the cursor, I use Aero Cursor.<b

This same thing happened to me. I installed WindowBlinds 5.01 on my Toshiba Satellite notebook, and I had the same problem. I tried changing resolution, and everything else. I even uninstalled WB and reinstalled it. Nothing helped at all. I honestly don't know what to tell you. What version of XP are you running? I'm running Pro with SP2. That might have something to do with it.

\Okay, I have WindowBlinds 5.01, and whenever I have a skin applied and use Yahoo! Messenger (all versions have the same problem), when I right-click on any Messenger window or try to use the text, InvironMent, Smileys, or Audibles features, it automatically signs me out of Messenger and exits the entire program. Can someone please help me with this problem?

If you want to keep using WindowBlinds for free, you will have to uninstall your current version before downloading it again. If you do this, however, you will no longer have all of the skins that you have applied UNLESS you copy the contents of your WindowBlinds system folder to another folder and put these files in the system folder of your new installation. If you do not uninstall WindowBlinds, then when you download it again, it will say "WindowBlinds has expired", or something of that matte
