Ok, so not quite the end. While everyone was squabbling, the Rossie Clones took over the abandoned planets of the Geckodons, and, in an attempt to appease their predecesors, created the Yor. There, that is a more befitting (and satisfying) ending. The End. I mean it this time.

And with that, on the first day of April, that the UGC fell to the hands of the evil empires. A council that only lasted for several days, disintergrated just like the Chosen in the face of a disintigration rifle. The Geonetti withdraw their acceptance and will proceed to conquer the universe in their own manner until another council is made. The End.

The Geonetti would like to report that our spies have informed us that 15:12 UTC (Universal Time Code), the 'weapon' was moved via freighter to Penko P3H11. After landing though, our spies lost track of the truck that was carrying the 'parcel', as it should now be called. I beleive that this council has a mole, and that we need to take the utmost caution in discussing these matters concernig the parcel from now on.

I do beleive that Geckos taste more like the Earth species called Alligator. Not that the Geonetti have ever *hrm* sampled such a delicacy...

The Geonetti would also like to make it clear that we are not calling for an election, just a more 'justified' means of election. By the way, Universal War? Really, the Geonetti believe that such actions are so 22nd century-ish...

After attending the 152nd Annual Genoa Conference today, the Geonetti feel that although slitting SethPenguin's throat is a little extreme, the leader of the United Galactic Council should be elected in the way that the majority of the participating empires run their domains. This proposal, once decided, should stay in effect for 3 weeks, at which time the proposal will be delivered again to deliver continued fairness. Proposal: Each representative shall post which form of gove

The Geonetti deplore the discussion of Underware in a Galactic Forum and will refrain from commenting on the actions of such childs' frippery hence forth. As for the second proposal, we agree, but think that the fine should be higher for the first offense. 2000 BC perhaps. Penalties should be strict as to enforce good behaviour, and to prevent 'accidents' from happening. As for the second half of the second proposal, the Geonetti are unable to comment as our Universal Translato

On behalf of the Geonetti, I accept your invitation. May our civilizations prosper in this tranquil time of peace. For my decision on the matter, I vote Yes. Not only are spore ships destructive and hazardous, they are also cowardly when used against other major races. I propose an addendum to add 6 additional weeks to this proposed time listing to lengthen the law's time to 2 months.

I don't know if this was said yet, but no one was unemplyed. When you think about it, didn't the companies that created the machine need people, if not to assemble it, create the idea. Thinking creatively is something that no robot can replace, and creative thinking is the only thing you really need to keep a job...

I think that if they are going to be rarer, there needs to be three or four stages to all the bonuses (like for reseach: ruins through library), but that also there should be special bonuses on terraformed tiles, bonuses that can't be obtained in any other way other than soil enhanching, habitat improvement, or terraforming.

I would recomend waiting until the release of Twilight of the Arnor before you buy the game. You can probably get a better deal, plus a ton of bonuses. Not to mention, you won't be left hanging for a month when you finish the campaign. As to your question, I beleive that in my experience, transports would sit in 'front' of the planet until it was un-defended; they do not attack at all, and are always defeated when an enemy attack ship engages them in battle.

They're not pointless, sometimes you just need an extra boost... What would be the fun in a game if everything served a purpose? As an example, 'daydreaming' in The Sims 2. Completely pointless, but still fun to do.

I am having the same problem as everyone else. Beginning to think it is a glitch. I got my game about a month ago, new from the store. I am an only child, have created one account, and amazingly, it takes my collector's serial, but it says that my base has already been used. Please help....
