I've though about this alot, probably need to think about it more but here would be my strategy. Hey thanks for the help. The info is not in the email but you have to right click on the game in the game tab and press view registration to get the ID/serial number. Maybe stardock should include that into the email.

Installed through impulse and it was automatically registered. But I did check any way and it says it is registered. When I load the game it asks for a ref ID and serial key.
