Those are some good looking ships kvd! I finally got DA today. The amount of extras are truly amazing. The amount of distinctive ships that can be created from the is mind boggling! No wonder hardly anyone is posting on this thread. They are all building ships!

I agree with maddy. I was shamed back in the day by croc411, kenwebb, and progoth (as well as others). I learned alot from them and they compelled me to try and do better. I think I learn something new almost everytime I look at someone elses ships on here. I love trying to figure out how they did something or even stumbling across a cool new way to do something in the ship editor. Another thing I find amazing is looking at the old stuff from the beginning of last years ship thread and wond

I have settled on Fire Moth. Mainly because I wasn't man enough to christen any of my fighers with a moniker that included dancer. "Not that there is anything wrong with that." I liked your analogy with the flame and moths. Thanks again for the help.

I love it. Thanks dystopic! kvd, I would like to see it. I looked at what the web had on them but the ships looked sorta like gothic cathedrals complete with flying butresses and everything. Very cool looking but I would think hard to attempt to duplicate in the ship builder. But like I said I want to see it.

Goto the library for user mods/ships/and other various downloads. Most have installation instructions and requirements in the readme.txt. The library can be reached by the library button on the left of this screen.

Hmmm...Do you have Kryo's KHSM turned on in the options tab? Some ships require different mods. Without the mod enabled you won't be able to see the imported ships at all. Everything else sounds that you are doing sounds right. The only other thing I can think of is that the ships have to be in the folder and not in any subdirectories. In other words all the .xml and .shipcfg files can't be in any folders inside of the \...\My Documents\My games\Gc2DarkAvatar\Ships folder.

Moose is right, however when designing you can toggle the attachment hard points (Red Pyramids) on and off and I find that helps with your problem. It's trickier though when placing extras. I normally max size the piece I am placing the extra on and reduce the size of it after I place it where I want. I alos rotate pieces out of the jumple of red and place and the rotate them back in. I hope this helps.

Oh yeah I was a legoholic. I spend about half or a little over have the time building ships instead of just playing. My kids (5 and 7) like building ships on it too but they rarely get to because I'm always playing it. I thought about using KHSM to show battle damage with floating debris next to it. That would be a cool new feature. My 7 year old son made this fighter. He calls it The Viper: Which I use with m

Thingamabob, using imageshack (after the image has been uploaded) right click on the image and then left click share it. Left click the forums field and copy it (ctrl c) and then paste it (ctrl v) into the forums text field. At least that’s how I got it to work after many, many failed attempts. God it was embarrassing.
