I'd phone the office and tell them to get their bleeding act together to make sure you get home. Thinking of you and sending you some positive thougts and energy. <a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253Fpartner%253DZSzeb008%255FZNxpt298KVGB%2526i%253D16%252F16%255F6%255F1v%2526feat%253Dp

Even the farmers were urged to farm halal "meats" back in 2002 British farmers are being urged to consider diversifying into the thriving halal meat sector. Research from the Meat and Livestock Commission has suggested there is a growing and as yet unfulfilled demand for halal meat - meat which has been ritually slaughtered according to Muslim tradition. The figures suggest that more than half of school caterers have requirements for halal meat, and hospitals are struggli

Emails obtained by the New Journal show that halal meat was routinely served to Camden school children at more than 50 schools across the borough until last summ

so I can't imagine why they're surprised when the government does that the cheapest way possible. so they should just accept it and shut up? If the gov insists there is a canteen at schools then they should be fair in the treatment of those unfortunate enough to have to eat in them. Sneaking ideas in under the radar is not nice. <a hr

Why is this a bad thing? It's a waste of time and money to make two or more different meals whilst keeping in line with the cooking guidelines for handling halal/kosher and non-halal/kosher meat in the same kitchen. It's not like kosher tastes particularly different, and if it saves cafeteria staff from buggering around with twice the dishes and twice the workload then why
