My daughter had an outbreak of achne on her forhead and surgical spirits cleared it all up within two weeks - no reason not to try it on a cold sore.

Go buy yourself facial cotton wool pads and surgical spirits, pour spirits on the cotton wool pad, gently dab on to the cold sore ensuring the whole sore gets a good dousing. Do not rub or scub just saturate it. The let it dry - do this at least 4 times per day, I do this for pimples when I get them, clears them chop chop try it BEWARE- IT WILL STING LIKE SHIT!

It sounds like a good idea "the lock down". As for contacting parents emails should be sent to the main PTA members who can then advise other parents of the situation. They can then have a meeting place prearranged near the school where the all the parents can then meet and liase with police etc without endangering themselves and the police and possibly bringing more chaos to an already dangerous situation by hysterical behaviour.
