If I was in government in the UK I would hand the lottery to the National Health Service to run for 3 years so that they can fund new hospitals, clinics, equipment whatever they need, when they are done with it I would pass it on to Social services to build old age homes and clinics, then kids homes etc. The funds from the lottery would be better used that way than some of the really stupid things they currently fund.
