How is it that the farmner didn't notice the horse had gotten out? Did he think it was funny or something? I'm guessing he didn't call you until morning because he didn't notice until then. Hope you won't incur bet bill from the injuries. The farmer was well aware he let Jack out, one of the youngsters

What is laminitis? Laminitis - a sickness horse get from the grass - if it is too rich - i.e. a new flush of grass is very rich in certain chemicals, this goes straight down to the hoof, the pedalbone in the foot rotates and in most cases the horse has tobe put down. Oh yes he was very happy in

I own a number of miniature shetland and minature ponies one of which is still "in tact" in effect a stallion. His name is Jack, I picked him up as a 3 month old foal at the forest sales. He was in a dreadful state, he had such a heavy worm burden his liver was damaged and this at 3 months old - still too young to be weaned from mum. I nursed this lttle guy back to good health and he is now 4years old and a really special little

Yes - I apologise too, I do tend to push my boundaries to the limit. I am sorry for yelling at you serenity, it was an overreaction (that now a real understatement:) )to your comment on my writing, there is no excuse for it, it was rude.

Sally you are far from talentless! Stop putting yourelf down! Your blogs are really super reads (I am no expert on whats what but I believe you write very well). Look at how many read your blog on a daily basis - that alone should reassure you - they enjoy what you write and how you write it! AND you can touch your nose with your tongue too! <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" a

Sally this is a really interesting article. I have had a few businesses over they years. The 1st one I sold at a profit. Good one! The 2nd one - I had a restaurant and take away but kept telling the customers to stop being so damned impatient in not so polite words and of course I shut the doors in a very short space of time. *raises eyes to the sky and remembers deliberately spilling a plate of soup in someones

I'm menopausal, so I can commiserate with you. The blushing, hot flashes, 'ant' and creepy crawly sensations and insomnia are all due to menopause. Thank you for sharing with me and for the advice as well.

Thank you very much Cactoblasta for answering my questions, they have been very enlightening. I have pressed the bonus points for your efforts. Thanks

I have been an insomniac for the last 2 months and left wandering why. I noticed that my irrational PMS behavior was getting worse as well, as were the usual monthly pimples, then it dawned on me I haven't had a period for over 8 weeks! Time to celebrate! No I am not pregnant - that would be a case of the immaculate conception since I am celibate (by my own choice). Not having those damn periods is reason enough to celebrate! N

It's pretty rare to meet someone who is poor and is also working very hard. sheesh, I did some temp work in a factory in cornwall when I moved down there and I saw poor people, the people there work exceptionally hard and very long hours - yet cornwall remains one of the poorest counties in the uk. I agree Sally the big day should be as you want it.. little as possible in my case. I got married by the local magistrate, I proposed to hubby (or rather my mother did for me!) on the 22nd dec and we got married on the 24th dec, the witnesses at the wedding were my brothers wife and a stranger - the petrol pump attendant from over the road! You know what I wouldnt change it for the world. After the ceremony, we went to the Wimpy for

Firstly let me say I do not have a philosophy - just thoughts and reactions. I chop and change, according to my hormone levels . What about "Live and Let Die"? The only way I would approve of this sort of thing is in euthanasia. It would be the only context in which I would understand it. Can you enlighten me - to what you un

So I take it you are not going to answer my questions? Why put an article like this out on the blog wall that has intentions of enlightening people to the ins and outs of your religion if you are not going to answer any of the questions. I have asked all of my questions in a genuine light and genuine interest - yet you do not deign to anwser - why?

What do I have to do - what steps do I take to get an email informing me of a comment made on one of my blogs? Is there a particular program I have to buy to get this feature? Also how do I track a specific blog, is there some way of putting it under a favorite listing to get to it easily instead of having to go through all the motions to find it again? You help in the aforementioned would really be appreciated. thanks jennifer

boy do I agree with you., Put our military on the borders, let the world fend for itself. Lets see who rushes to aid who when they have famine, or a disaster. Keep our money at home, rebuild our infrastructure. Take better care of our combat vets. got to say I agree with you even if you

OK, I've deleted what I originally typed in response. I have warned you all that I am in a cynical mood today. But, it's responses like this that put me in that cynical mood and convince me that in fact we should just leave. excellent restraint there! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/JU/smiles/BigS

You have been flippant and self righteous from the first blog here. YOUR BEHAVIOUR makes it difficult for anyone to want to read someone who is new to blogging. Other's have come on board who have not done what you're doing. My first blog here is the one about men - if ever there was a case of something

One thing that was comforting was the lack of spelling skills. I think I do better than spelling the word your "yur". Trudy that happens to be a typing error, I always put the word (spelling) behind a word I am unsure of. For someone who just this afternoon said she could not stand all th

It seems like Jennifer has some growing up to do before she really becomes accepted here at JU or even very coherent. good article, Serenity. A comment like this coming from the man who insulted Pearl92 the way you did - it is not surprising. Your lack of empathy with her was appalling, and the fact her english typing was not brilliant - you jus
