Sounds like a plan. I do find this new look a bit hard to get use to, I use to like the fact that when you opened an article and replied after reading the article and other replies that if you left that article and came back later to it, it would bring the page down to the last reply posted. That way I did have to read to find it again. I like the idea of having more control over our web pages. Keep up the good work.

The DNC scares me more and more everyday. They almost make Bush likable. How can I relate myself to a party that contradicts itself over and over every time they open their mouths. Our own resident troll Bush hater is testament, proof and fact of this.

I have always wondered what posseses people to think that somehow they feel they deserve to get paid more money when working in places like McDonalds, a place where replacing an employee is about as easy as making french fries. I worked for KFC for 2 years when I was 18. I felt that my $5.25 an hour was deserved, after all, everything in there was a piece of cake to make and I didn't even need a high school degree to do it. I eventually made it to supe

FDR said it best immediately after Pearl Harbor. "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself" It still holds true to this day. Fear is their weapon. Fear is the mindkiller. Fear is what makes you look under the bed for the boogeyman. He's not really there. But you believe he is there out of fear that he really is there. There'

Don't people check their articles anymore around here? Whats the point or replying to the article and the writer if they ignore their own articles? (if something happened and for any emergency you can not respond then disreguard my post ).

My ONLY reason for posting the truth about Bush is to let people know what this man has done to our country You wouldn't know the truth if God came down and told you it was the truth. Half of the stuff you post is either opinion analysis and that is not fact or truth. You base your position on those who agree with your point of view and complete

Yes, me included. Somehow we have forgotten what some of the holidays we get really mean. It's hard to point a finger and it wouldn't be fair. Every working person works hard to keep their families and themselves going. Having an extra day off is always smething to look forward to. It's a time that most will choose to get together and relax and have some fun. There's nothi

I don't blame the people of the US a bit for what happened on 9/11. It is tempting to lay part of the blame on the Clinton administration, but the same complicity and insipid attitude can be seen in the administration of Bush the First. Though I agree with the Bush and clinton part, I have to say that

There is only 1 phone in the house. My wife has it all the time since she is with the kids all day. I will eventually get one only for the need to be in contact in case of an emergency. I never get any calls execpt from her so I have no problem with it. I like the earpiece, I don't see it silly except when people put their hands on it as if holding it in place cause it doesn't sound good or something, then I ask myself the purpose of the ear piece is for what? Why get an earpiece if you gonna ho

I do agree with you and Whip and Ocham. However if we don't make a change to this type of mindset with some of the holidays that we do have now, those that really should be used in a more productive way, for example Veteran's Day, when will we begin? These days that really should be used more usefully are not because we've fall into a pattern of 'oh it's a long weekend tim

"I hope their lights stay off, I hope they sweat buckets without their air-conditioning. Let them live for just 24 hours the way the people of Baghdad live every fucking day." So said a friend of mine back in 2003 when I told him there had been a major power cut in New York. He is no jihadist, certainly not a Muslim, nor a man of any religious belief, but rather a w

By foreverserenity Posted September 10, 2006 10:30:04 It's nice to know that there is still hope for our chilfren and our future. It's great to see that teens (I'm assuming she's a teen) today actually care about someone other than themselves (not that they all do think only of themselves, just not something I see often). I do think it's a nic

I dont think anyone has said Iraq was a hub. IN point of fact, due to its nature, there is no hub. But no one can deny that Iraq was one of the biggest sponsors of Terrorism. That is all that Bush has claimed. Ever wonder why people continue to say that we went into Iraq due to 9/11 links? <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center b

Thanx Brad. Though I didn't lose any family members or friends, the death of my fellow Americans feels just the same. We also lost 2 symbols of what this country stands for, so the lost was even greater to me.

I think class envy is a GOOD thing, if channelled properly, draginol. Class envy is essentially what motivates me to want to maxiimize my personal earnings potential. And that motivation is what drives a capitalist economy. It's kinda interesting that when you look up the definition of envy: the desi

I define conspicuous consumption as the willfull wasting of something for show that someone else desperatly needs. What I want to understand is why is it that the one willfully wasting something is somehow responsible for the one who desperately needs that something? When will people finally admit that

CharlesC If you read my post you would know what my problem is with Bush and the GOP. Let me post it again for the SLOW reader: "But I know that what he has done to this country will harm us in the future and adversely impact my children and grandchildren." What's hard for me is when I see companies cutting salaries and benefits for their workers and then you see their executives getting millions of dollars in compensation and buying solid gold toilets. It does seem that the top guy is wealthy because of the sacrifices of all the little guys. Maybe right, maybe wrong but that is the

Note the premise: That the wealth that the top 5% have is essentially stolen -- transffered to them -- from the poor. That's right, the bottom half of the populatoin are the ones really generating that wealth and the top 5% are just taking it from them. Which, to anyone with any understanding of the economy, is utter nonsense.

Kill the beast, kill the beast. We care too much what others think of us. I lived that way for many years without even knowing it. I chose to live without care towards what others think of me, to a certain extent anyways. What we need to do is show the world that we need each other but that does not mean that our problems need their support at all times. We are fully capable of taking care of ourselves though it doesn;t hurt to have some support, just not to the point that we seem to ne

To be honest this article (and all of my subsequent comments) was really just a bit of tongue in cheek prodding at the PC crowd who feel it's their solemn duty to go around telling other people what they should and shouldn't be doing with their lives. I wish they'd just mind their own damned business and let people live their liv
