A shortcut is a small file that tells the OS where something is - in this case, it tells the OS to launch the default browser with the URL. So yeah, you can put URLs on the desktop and in fences. Just drag and drop the icon of the website onto the desktop. Works with any major browser.

I'm loving this - this is what I've needed since Microsoft pretty much threw away icon groups from Windows 3 and shoved everything into the Start Menu in Windows 95 :). BTW, I noticed that when you first install, it can create Fences for Programs, Files & Docs, Folders, etc - I think it would be very nice to be able to modify some sort of set of rules or filters, and be able to apply them at any time, and have them automatically applied to new items.

Okay. Personally, I don't mind too much, but I can understand it. Perhaps in the future somebody will make some sort of plugin for it similar to NoScript and AdBlock. That being said - I do miss my Firefox plugins. Chrome isn't going to replace Firefox as my primary browser.
