I like ground cover. I usually play around x2 (I don't mind the max setting). I would like a random setting. So basically an area with few resources has lots of ground cover, but I wouldn't mind some areas that have few resources to be barren either.

Brad- I was just thinking after reading your other post on making swords, how about random tech tree/ random starting weapons. You don't know what your first group of warriors weapons are going to be like until you settle your first city. Once you do you find out what your basic starting weapons are, say I get daggers this game and the next spears (you could run the chance of starting with say +1 dagger or a short sword). Other possibilities are you could start out with training (

Also enjoying it. Music is great, loving the store and characters (yes I agree books usually have better story but its good for a game and the story is better than ME2). Insanity is fun with my infiltrator. Mining is gone you basically shot a probe into a system and see if you find something. If the system is reaper occupied you have to watch how many probes you shot out otherwise they come in system to case you down. You only need to collect war assets for the final battle.
