I bought E:WOM for a specific reason, to recreate a custom world with a game that allowed/encouraged mods, and could facilitate a map size of epic proportions (which is for my needs about 20% larger then Large). I had this problem after the 2nd Beta Update as well. Never was able to get help on it. Decided to just wait for it to go Gold rather then nag. I also was not the only one with the same symptoms, but there was just a handful of us. Unfortunately, the updated version has the same problem. Could do it like Railroad Tycoon games do, you plop down roads the way you want them. In Railroad Tycoon: A basic track was cheap. A two track was a bit pricey. Maybe lay out the planned road and have it take a few turns to be usable. Pretty basic idea :D

You got me thinking.... So I uninstalled Stardock Central, then deleted the folder. Then reinstalled Stardock Central. No change. Also - I can not find a manual download/update for GalCiv games anywhere in Stardock Central. The only place I see updates at all are in "Check for Application Updates" and "View Application Updates" which bring up exactly the same thing. The window that goes no where.
Not crashing, just not doing anything. It loads fine, finds my games and displays them and the size of files that are due to update on them. The GalCiv 2 and DA are checked. I click "Update Now" and the window goes away (the lil box showing what needs to be updated) But the 48+ MB of files do not download. Oddly, I have updated in the past both GalCiv2 and DA, but after taking a break from playing them, I wanted to play DA again for the changes. But
I keep running this "Stardock Central" Application, finding my games via the menu, and clicking Update (not Update Later), and NOTHING happens. Download Manager is empty. Serial Numbers are all correct. It just goes away and thats it. :/ I just wanna play. But instead I want to take a double-barreled plasma cannon to it.
Yep, the sound was fine until I installed the update patch. Now, the introduction glitches like a scratched cd. I dug this up with search here on the forum, I dont see any resolution to it It drives me insane. It is like having a favorite band, but the only CD you have of them skips like no tomorrow, makes it unplayable.<

Hiya, Been playing 1.4X w/ Collectors Ed, but no mods... and approval has crashed down to 1%. I had lost control of the senate for 3 elections, due to some silly Star Democracy thing that got voted in. But even zeroing out my taxes has still left me with a -2000000000% native ability modification on my approval. What gives? Bug?
