I also get this "Connecting to players, please wait" , and its hit or miss, sometimes I get in a game sometimes it hangs on that message for 30 min and I just quit the game.

sadly the "tournament" is made of severe weak sauce I feel Brad is starting to become more like Peter Molyneux in regards to what he thinks the game will have and what it actually does. I recall reading somwhere over the last month that Stardock HQ is doing a huge expansion of its building and hiring 50+ new employees to prepare for the needs of a MMO. It also talked about the lack of quality super high Internet access to support a MMO at Stardock at this time.
