I think they should be colored corrisponding to the teams main color. Sort of like how in Gal Civ each planet has an tint around it that corresponds to the races main color. Points at TGE , that is a good idea!

Q:How long will it take YOU to download Beta1? Approximately 0.0 seconds. For an android sir, that is nearly a lifetime. Because, well, I won't be getting it! We will feel sorry for you, at least until our downloads are done.

Prolly, but I will be uber mad if anyone can download and get the game online once its out in retail. Piracy is part of life , but I at least want to deny them multiplayer and any updates... I have 3 pc's in my house , so it will be nice to test the Beta on Vista and my 2 XP boxes, to see the differences. Each PC is about 3 years apart, so I will see just how well the game scales to the provided hardware...

The star systems are a HUGE jump over the crappy systems of EAW and SOTS... The fully zoomed out system is what looks sorta "icky" but I am not sure how to better represent a system than to just have it look as it is. This level of zoom and anything before it is fine IMHO... Its when you zoom out to this level (I am guessing its the last level of zoom), then it doesn't look right at least to

Also, don't forget that if it takes you a year to accelerate to your target speed it will take you a year to slow back down to your original speed again. Someone forgot about their space brakes....
