I hated the MAP in SOTS , also space battles were not to good either... I did like building my own ships though!

select the ships u want , and tab thru them till you get the ones you want to give orders to.
My boxed version is at home waiting to be opened!!!!!!!

i don't bother with the carrier cruisers, i also agree they need 2 squads of fighters/bombers or one of each...
previous saves do not work with new patches. so i am guessing 1.01 games won't work with the new patch 1.02 when it comes out

Well for me the BETA downloaded slower than most things... Ironically I get the best connections from File Planet :NOTSURE:
erm , apparently you CAN get it to work on WIN2K... use search there was a post here today that someone gave instructions on how to do it.
