HELP for the Logon files: You need the Logon Studio for the files .logonXP. There is a link in the begining of the page in the Logons section, from where you can download the latest version of Logon Studio (it is free!). Double click the .logonxp file. This should automatically open the LogonStudio program and your new logon screen will be in the list. Highlight it, (if it isn't already highlighted) and click apply. If your new logon is NOT listed, hit "Refresh List" (w

The only answer to all those questions about the .logonXP files is that the Logon Studio it is still a beta version... so we must have some patience
I have the same problem as you are, but suddenly everything works just fine with "usericonplaceholder"... don't ask me what I have done, because I didn't do anything to fix it, it is fixed alone, really strange...but at least it works now.

You can extract the files wherever you want in you hard disk, then double click the .logonXP file and that's it, opens the Logon Studio and you just click OK. That's all, I don't know why so many people have problems with the logon studio files.
