->Kryo: But doesn't a 2nd level of something cost more than the first? Better to research 1 level of 2 things + 3 levels of hull repair (with interlude for extra research station) followed by the cap shipyard. And then you'll have to have 3k credits to do anything with it...

Yipe! That's a lot of good listening, there. If your game doesn't win awards for its soundtrack, I think I'll hunt down the reviewers and brutally slaughter them. (J/K) Have you noticed that music with vocals is often the most popular? Your main track, as well as the music from the Boron homeworld in X3:Reunion, is widely appreciated - because of the ethereal vocals. (More vocal tracks, please!)

If the option is there, it's all good. I'm an independent developer myself and, while I recognize that having high-level graphics options enabled at all times would make any computer run slowly, there's no reason that I can see why not to leave the switches in for scalability purposes. Why not make your graphics scale up as well as down? If people are still playing it five years down the road, wouldn't it be nice if they could turn up the detail and still have a good-looking game?

Yes... slow the ship explosions down. It doesn't feel quite right for all your ships to go "poof" and disappear in half a second - make them explode a bit more dramatically, please! Also, I agree about the bombardment thing. It just doesn't feel right to have to hit a planet with a couple hundred of these gigantic bombs which look like three of them could split the planet in half. Finally, you might think about changing the bomb graphic to a sort of atmospheric effect - the bom

( Infinity ) is a game that (I think) gets the feel of space right. It doesn't have to be black, as long as it isn't this nebulous green/blue/orange cloud everywhere. Make some variation and some distant objects, make the colors much darker, add nebulae in the background... make the color scheme have more blue/white in it than orange, and add things like this: (procedurally-generated nebula) <a href="http://www.fl-tw.com/Infinity/Media/Screenshots/n

Win XP sp2 3.5GHz 1.5 GB ram 128mb GeForce 6600 DX 9.0c Couple things - loading a saved game of the first tutorial caused the main menu to appear over the gameplay as soon as it was done loading; and pressing print-screen (also in the tutorial section) made a mess of the screen. (little pink-and-green static rectangles everywhere) Nothing helped with this last bug short of restarting the game. I second Benn00's opinion - this game is a lot of fun! (And the AI is
