Easier way to open Command Prompt cause more then likely you'll have to have it as Admin. on the desktop HOLD down the SHIFT key and right click then click on OPEN COMMAND WINDOW HERE IN THE cmd window just past sfc /scannow after you copy it from here. and it will take some time for it to run ....

MOST of the time to get to safe mode is to Hit F8 steadily (like every second) F8 F8 F8 (Note: Not F and 8) at start up or a restart when you see the black screen with a flashing cursor prompt start hitting F8 F8.. it is always a good idea to run a Anti-Virus Uninstaller from the Anti-Virus maker after uninstalling it from ADD and REMOVE PROGRAMS (XP) (win Se7en) it will be PROGRAMS and FEATURES

Ok, I am going to assume you have 2.0. But I have 1.9 ObjectDock Plus. You say OD is on your taskbar, so this means you pinned it there yourself. Note: the System Tray is to the right with the clock this is NOT the taskbar even though it is on it. If it is in the system tray you can’t change it, that I know of without an app. That can do it. As for the one pinned to the taskbar you can’t change it either,
