Cannings, you really rob yourself of any credibility you might have had by being snarky.

When an object is targeted, and remains targeted when you visit a shop, the target pane prevents the top left item in shop windows from being selected. If there's a no-target key that I don't know of, that'd also work.
If you've selected but haven't used Boulder Roll (and possibly other AoE skills) and the game ends, no cursor appears--you're stuck with the targeting circle until you hit main menu.
QWER is a fine default. If you want it different you can rebind them. :P
After the initial release of the beta , there'll be a window where you can preorder with paypal, if there are still spots left.
Emphasis mine.
After the initial release of the beta, there'll be a window where you can preorder with paypal, if there are still spots left. Also, if any big retailers near you sell prepaid Visa/MasterCard cards, you can use those, too.
the mute button in tf2 doesn't work for me
I just disabled TF2 voice chat a long time ago.
And those of you who are, when do we get our juicy impressions and such?
To be fair, Mythos did (/sadfrown) WASD movement from a topdown view fairly well. I remain solidly in the wait-and-see camp for WASD and Demigod.
Open for people who preordered.
The real WTF is that none of them are available in 1280x1024. >.> Time to crop one of 'em down, I guess.
It's true. I'm sick and tired of all the feedback showing up now. It was acceptable a month ago, when Tyo was telling us how wrong we were about everything and there were about a half zillion fewer people posting inanities. Now it's beginning to grate on the nerves--close your mouths, enjoy the late August weather, and wait at least until the game's been shown at PAX. At least then you can attempt to sound like you know what you're talking about. And get off my lawn, too!
This is supposed to be a real beta where people give feedback to improve the game, NOT a demo.
You can't give feedback on the game yet, because YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT. In a week and a half or so, call for WASD all you want, if it's not present. Shut up until you actually know it'll fit.
It's a way to help resolve stalemates, not an imbalance.

As has been said several times before, if there are still beta spaces available after the 5th, they'll open it up to paypal preorders for a week or so.
You're perfectly justified in not buying yet, what with the lack of info. Once beta 1 starts, there'll probably be a bunch of gameplay videos that should make your choice easier. >.>
As long as I have my mute button.
Just because the game isn't balanced around a gametype doesn't mean the gametype shouldn't be there.
You know, I thought I would disagree with this post, but I like innociv's comparison to TF2--simple mechanics you can dive right into, difficulty in mastering said mechanics. On the other hand, a bunch of classes lose some of their usefulness in high-level TF2 play, if I'm properly informed--let's try not to emulate that bit.
Why not DM/TDM? More options is never a bad thing.
This thread is full of baseless speculation. I do not approve.
I looked at the Gamespot article Annatar linked to. ...I'm going to have to have a look at this Air Rivals thing. :P
