I took yesteday and today off work so that in total I would have five days off (it's a long weekend) in a row to get all my yard work done and I'm still sitting here on the computer, looking for any excuse to not get started. Damn it, I wish it would rain!!!!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY... Have you ever wondered if the five dollar bills in your wallet were ever in a strippers's butt crack? If not, you're wondering now. Here's another one... Dear Tech Support, Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to H

AvMan's great WIP got me thinking. And since I'm not a skinner, I thought I'd throw it out there. It would be so cool (especially for those of us who like a minimal desktop) if a windowblind could be done that could include a working clock, weather, maybe system meters, at the top of the start menu (sort of like his tachometers) instead of having them on the desktop. Is that even possible?

Jafo, thanks for the explanation, I would never have thought of that. I'll keep it in mind when I do shots in the future since I tend to do sort of simple desktops. [e digicons]:sun:[/e]

Thanks k10w3 and NrseBiker and Lantec for the answer! Another question, this one for Jafo -
and while we're at it we can protect wall artists' works when the desktops are too blank and leave the wallpaper easily accessible.
I don't quite understand why this is done, because usually the link is given to the artists wallpaper in the shot. Couldn't it get ripped then? Sorry, just trying to understand.

I have an add-on for my Firefox toolbar that notifies me for one yahoo and two gmail accounts. I could never figure out how to get mail gadgets to work.

Sorry, but I think it's pretty tacky what you've done here. You could have contacted Z privately and if he agreed with you, he could have done some changes and come out with an updated version. Wouldn't you have been upset if someone had done the same thing to you? A PM to Z would have taken you alot less time than the major presentation you put together here.Watch out for that karma, it has a tendency to hit back.

Lantec, I just checked out the GUIC site, it's still almost the same time process cause you have to click on the skin which brings you to the skin's page - then you can click for a preview. I was hoping WC would change it so that you could preview a skin without leaving the gallery.Oh well, you can't always get what you wish for! [e digicons]X([/e] But thanks for letting me know [e digicons]:sun:[/e]
