I don't know if this will help you or not, because I have XP not Vista, but I always extract ObjectDock backgrounds or icons this way... When the download opens up in my Zip program (I use AlZip by EST) I 'extract' it to: Program Files/Stardock/ObjectDock/Backgrounds - for backgrounds or /Themes for icons. Explore that folder - Program Files/Stardock/ObjectDock - you shoud see folders for Backgrounds, Bundled Images, Docklets, Lang, Running Indicators, Themes - and it should g

Or instead of just purchasing IconPackager, you can upgrade your stand-alone version of Windowblind's to get 'ObjectDesktop' or 'ObjectDesktop Ultimate' and you'll get a couple more programs (as well as IconPackager) that you'll want later - once you get hooked on changing your desktop all the time! https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/purchase.asp
https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?libid=38 The library is already there, but you have to click edit in the sidebar to have the gallery be listed.
Thanks Bebi for that information! I didn't even know it was there. I've gone in and edited my library preferences.

Haven't had it in years. When I was in France years ago - on a zero budget! - that 's all I ate. We'd buy a baquette(sp?), tear it in half and spread Nutella on it - breakfast, lunch and dinner!

I'm all for speed and faster previews. To be able to change the look of the page would be great. As one example, here's a shot of how Roger's Yahoo lets you skin (hope my upload works properly)...

I don't upload, except for screenshots, so if that makes a difference, I don't know - but I prefer FF3, I don't use IE browser at all. Firefox is soooo user friendly, and I like all the add-ons and themes it has. There is an extension called IE Tab that enables the IE engine, works perfectly. I haven't tried Opera yet though.

You mention that the beta only supports Vista SP1. When the product is finally for retail sale, do you know if XP users will have to upgrade to Vista so that they can upgrade to 7?

Island Dog, this is part of my email to sales... I entered those two choices into my shopping cart. Next page, I entered my personal information. Next page, I entered my credit card information. Next page, it said 'Sorry, you can not complete your order until you have added something to your shopping cart.'<br /

Well, I tried to renew my subscription earlier to show my support, but had problems with the purchase. I made my choices, put in my payment information, thought I was done, but then got the message that I hadn't made any purchase. So I went to do it again, but was prompted to enter all my payment info again. So I put in a call and an email to stardock sales, got a return email with ticket#, but to give it up to 2 days for a response. I'm usually patient and would wait, but I'm

Quoting DrJBHL #107: "Maybe a "Video Professor" type approach would produce more customers and skinners....Yeah, I'm trying to repopularize skinning." Great idea! Don't know if it's do-able, but it might work for people like me who need to see something done before it maks sense.

Im not a skinner but I think I have a good eye for what looks good and I like dressing up my desktop, home, and workplace. Since discovering Stardock and this site about two years ago, Im now hooked, and like an addict, visit every day to see whats happening, read the forums, post occasionally and see what skins have come out. Ive purchased all the software, some master skins and a subscription to WC, so even though I dont have skins to share, I dont consider myself a 'user'. I suppos

Positive energy going out to all of those who've decided to quit! It's tough to do, but it's do-able if it's the right time for you. I quit 2 yrs, 10 months ago, after smoking a pack a day for 36 years. I'd tried before but always started again after convincing myself that I could sneak a smoke! What helped me to quit was a contest that the Canadian Cancer Society had. You had
