are the saves you are trying to load from beta 4? or are they from beta 3?

Its all about counters if you build a beam / shield ship then ill build a mass driver/shield ship at which point you would want to counter with armour and either missiles or mass drivers
I believe the shrinker and the logistics system work properly even though they identify as built on planet
Personally i would love to have a little checkbox mechanic for surveys click manage ship under survey select the type you want your ship to go after . ship graveyard [ ] artifacts. [ ] wormholes [ ] space junk [ ]
I could be wring but i believe L and V are referring to ship pathing L being the general path ships move over long distances and V being the shape ships move to avoid an obstacle
They Had this in gc 2 to some extent i expect its coming in gc3 it also annoys me that its still not in yet
2) ships should not be able to travel out of range thats the whole point of the range mechanic the fact that atm ships can be tricked into going out of range is imo a bug that hasent been fixed yet.
Actually its been well known from the start that the classical definitions of alpha /beta don't apply.
it was my understanding that galciv was going more with the classical definitions of alpha/beta. rather then the contemporary definitions where beta would be merely considered early access before a head developer walks off forcing the company to rewrite major sections of the game storyline .. i could tell yo
was there a patch today? im mainly asking because on the weekend i was lucky if i could play more then 10 minutes without crashing i think i almost cleared 2 hours before i crashed today
also when you post a link to the image you have to change the last character to 1 ex dl=0 should be dl=1
i think the xml has it listed as 60% i bumped it up to 90% in my games ive also heard that
same here the first survey ship i found did not in fact have a survey module on it however it did show that it was capable of surveying on the strategic map (3 semicircles infront of the design)
the console can be accessed by hitting the ~ key on your keyboard its located next to the 1 and between the esc and tab keys on most keyboards its usefull for testing out many issues if you have a specific thing to test or sometimes in solving bugs or annoyances, however it can also invalidate any testing you do to the game since the bugs you see may be caused by the commands you put in some usefull commands help - this
so i have 2 problems with ideology buildings 1) multiple building bug. its possible to build many of the ideology buildings on multiple planets considering they disapear from my build list once one is completed i believe this is intended to be 1 building per civilization. This has been reported previously with different buildings in prevous betas 2) permanant ideology buildings several of the idology buildings grant a one time bonus
new bug https://forums.galciv3.com/460773/page/1/
minor bug but the yor fast assembly project(?) does not check for population cap making it possible to overpopulate yor worlds without the base organic reproduction mechanic, this excess yor population does not decrease.
ive been noticing a lot of freezes while exploring the tech tree after mousing over many of the techs (3/4 of them) the game tends to freeze it appears to be a graphics freeze as i can open menus and interact with them if i know what im doing the mouse pointer moves but nothing else changes on the map the longer ive been playing before opening the tech tree the less techs i can mouse over before this happens a new game (or after reloading a game) i can look over about 3/4 of t
to the devs can we get a sticky on this?
Is there any way to make external shipyards unattackable, or put them back on a planet? With them being external, I have to double the number of ships I use for defense, and without a shipyard, if I'm ever under attack, I can't build ships because the shipyards are the first things they go for. I like being able to move, and link multiple planets to the shipyard, but having them immediately destroyed makes things really difficult!
one of
Maybe ships are just to cheap currently. Producing a Titan in one turn sounds a bit much.
i was mearly using this as an example but at the same time with a large focused planet i would expect that to be possible
nearly every post ive read seems to mention the same thing (i have tons of influnce buildings/buffs on this planet) i wonder if there is something wrong with the influence buildings.
Also, I think the assemlby project got nerfed. I think it used to be (1 pop per 10 manufacturing) +1 pop, but is now 1 pop per 10 manufacturing with a minimum of 1.
umm you're aware that the term nerfed means weakened right? because the assembly project got so much of a boost its game-breakingly overpowered 1) turn 1 set assembly, set manufacturing 100% set military 99%. pump out one colony s
well lets see 1) is it possible that your mobo has an onboard video card (that was causing quite a bit of problems a while back) 2) if you list the dxdiag maybie someone can spot something
I turned off Ascention Victory condition and ascention crystals still show up.
i believe you can turn on and off victory conditions in game and as such theres a separate option to enable/disable ascension crystals at the start of the game
have you checked if your graphics card drivers are up to date?
