The one I like to bitch about is that the US sends foreign aid to China! We stupidly borrow money from them and then turn around and give it back as foreign aid. They must be laughing their asses off all the way to the bank.
So, 425 million in taxes paid to Australia for the past 5 years is not contributing? That's the amount the story you link to states they paid once you do the math. You may say that's not enough but by their accountants, that's what they were legally obligated to pay. You can't blame
Very saddened by the news of his passing. May he rest in peace.
Well, the stakes were high in US / Canada hockey... and we lost big time... <span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; f
The best advice is use some common sense. Treat every email as possibly being malicious.
Playing Devil's advocate here but do you all really trust putting your data in the cloud?
Neighbor had a major tragedy and their house burnt down. Of course they didn't trust the cloud and only backed up their data on a local external HD. Lost everything, all their data including all their family photos. Too bad some of that data wasn't stored in the cloud.
Katie, I replied to you PM. I would like to point out that WMV is a horrible format to use for dreams as they use an extremely high amount of CPU power. If your on a laptop, your machine will run much hotter than necessary if you run a WMV dream continuously. Also, so your aware, most WMVs hesitate at the loop. Lastly, there are plenty of codec packs that include a mpeg2 codec. Install one and remove the Windows update KB2670838 and&nbs
Congrats to everyone [e digicons][/e]
Sounds like a great reason to create my first Master Dream. [e digicons][/e]
I just tried to install Deskscapes and received a max activations notice. If someone from support is perusing the forums this weekend, I would appreciate it if you could rest my account. Thanks, CG
I've found that it's best to downsize your swf resolution to 300x169 and keep the file around 1.5 MB.

More than likely, IE11 caused it. There was a similar problem with IE10. Try uninstalling IE11 to see if the problem goes away.
Forgot to mention, if you find one of mine that you would like to have re-worked, PM me and I'll upload an updated version for you.
I forgot to add, as far as I know, the only software out there that you can reverse the direction is Adobe After Effects.
Can deskscapes already do this? Or can it have an option to do this? I know I could edit the video but it would be an easy way to get some videos to be used as a seamless animated backgroun.
I've used this method for looping video and I can tell you that this does not work as well as you think. Unless the movement in the video is minimal, you will see an abrupt change when you reverse the video. Also, since the last frame
It's because of the non standard video size that we used back then. When we first started, 16x10 was the wide screen norm for monitors so we created dreams for them. 1792x1120 was the closest thing that the encoder we were using would allow for 16x10. The ones you are having trouble with were encoded at 1792x1120. With Win 8, the video needs to be a standard size like 1920x1080. Unless the original author re-encodes their dream and uploads a new version, those will no
I'm not the 3rd but I would love to get some local honey from that close to home (Oscoda). Edit: It's been a while since I've been back to that part of the country, sure do miss it. I love to get up there for some Pike fishing this winter.
Sorry if this has already been asked....will this be part of Object Desktop when the final version is released or will it be a stand alone product?
If you're going to revamp the site, I'd like to see the personal home pages brought back. While some of them still work, there is no links to get to them.
Happy Birthday Jim. [e digicons][/e]
You have too much time on your hands. You need another hobby...bee keeping isn't quite enough. [e digicons];)[/e]
Congrats to all the winners. [e digicons][/e] I know I'm late but I missed this last month.
Current Object Desktop subscribers can now download Object Desktop Manager from here: http://tinyurl.com/ObjectDesktopManager
Is there a difference between this and the new Stardock Central?
