It wasn't supposed to be more than a 10 second part of the demo but it ended up eating up an extra 20 minutes of the meeting because people attending kept wanting to see what horrible horrible creature was going to be made next.
[e digicons][/e] And just imagine how long the public will spend playing with it And speaking of the book I think I need to upgrade my preorer to be the physical copy (rumor was / is it might come wit
I am quite curious how you can make any conclusions about tactics at all without having played that game or even seen footage of a real match.
Well if the PC and console versions are the same, it will probably just get units en mass and shove them at the enemy... And the maps seem to be small so you aren't even a half a mile away from your enemy :/
Excuse my poor PS skills. Poor kid :(
lol I'm picturing some semi chubbing, sad, child that's green. The only non human feature it has a huge nose... lol :( Also do children's portraits age? If so, what block of time does it updte (ie 1 year, 10 years, etc)?
I'm more dissapointed with what appears to be a lack of scale and tactics
I have been following this game for years now
The game was announced in July 2008, and the game feels pretty rushed. I heard that the reason the level cap is 16 is because they hadn't finished the upper levels. Klingons seemed broken to me, and the lag got pretty unbearable (I can understand lag the first day or two, but a few days after is unacceptable). And yes, the game was fun... for the first 3 days. Then it got stale and I realized just how repetiti
Quoting Thrawn2787, reply 61First off C&C4 is going to be highly pirated too. They got rid of base building and many fanboys have already turned their backs on it. Are you kidding? Someone actually thought the disasterous Dawn of War 2 model was a good idea?
I guess. I hated DoW II, I don't think Relic should be trusted with 40k games anymore
After playing the game for a few more days, I can't say if I will buy more time after the first month. I will still get the game and play it, but I may be bored after the first month. We'll see how different the release game is from the beta
First off C&C4 is going to be highly pirated too. They got rid of base building and many fanboys have already turned their backs on it. Starcraft 2 is looking ok, except for the lack of lan. And knowing Activision, each of the 3 games will be over fifty dollars and launch and had usless DLC for you to buy too
I think it's a pretty good game and to be honest, I'm a bigger star wars fan. I think ToR might fail. KOTOR was fun, but I doubt it could work with lots of other people. And the cartoon graphics are making me angry Anyways STO is fun, but kinda buggy atm. It is still in beta though, so I won't say its BAD because of the bugs
Hey everyone, don't forget this is also a release for the xbox. RTS Xbox Not a port I smell a failure of a game. Sorry GPG, Demigod and Supcom (+FA) were great, but I might give this one a miss
Well looks like I'm back as long as X is. Always need those beta testers [e digicons]:w00t:[/e]
They typically give you the Collector's edition for no extra charge if you selected the physical copy of the game That's what they did with SoaSE and Demigod atleast [e digicons]
We're going to be forming an Impulse community fleet in the game. I'll post details right before the Head-Start weekend
Good, gooood! We need to make sure everyone joins the same server! I'll be in the beta and headstart if Gamestop ever emails me... (woulda gone impulse if I didn't have gift cards to use from xmas, but thinking about it I probably shoulda gone impulse anyways, I hate
To be honest, SoaSE is in my top ten of the decade And I agree with the Orange box and KOTOR, not where they are on the list but they are in my top 10 as well :)
Hehe I was 3 years old back then I bet I make all of you feel old [e digicons]:dur:[/e]
God dang it mod still isn't out yet? You'll release this when Ironclad releases Sins 2 lol :(
As far as that princess quest is concerned, perhaps if it was "Princess [closest town name]," The nobility there could have the last name of the town, and if that town's particular princess is missing you also know where to return her. I understand that that description of the quest was probably a placeholder, but I don't want to be rescuing the same princess every game (the same quest picture is fine, but the same name isn't) Also what about quests from factions (or fa
Hehe I should get back into Elemental. I think it was less fun than I thought it was going to be, but every time Frogboy posts the beta schedule I get pumped up again. I've also gotten into GCII recently, I didn't like the demo for the longest time but after actually buying the full game I'm loving it Tactical battles (or graphics... or quests... or dungeons... or fun) will probably turn me on to the beta the most when it comes out, but I hope to get back into this prob
Don't know if this has been mentioned yet but we need to have a quest with space ponies Or atleast a random event that doesn't do anything. Space ponies must be in every game stardock makes from now on! [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] I'm serious
what are the new difficulty levels doing precicely?
Probably allowing the AI to cheat, I don't think they did before

All of those games are pretty bad/generic/didnt-stand-up-to-hype... well Diablo wasn't but it's really old
Sounds cool. It must also cut down on staff doing this
Yeah but at stardock instead of sword fights its stinging people with BEES .
No, you'll get into the beta when the next beta phase is released (Beta 2, not 1C). Atleast from what I understand
rom what I understand, its a cross between Civilization and a fantasty RPG...?
Yes, it has a fantasy setting and is a 4X game like Galatic Civ. It also has RPG elements when it comes to your certain units and exploration (dungeons might be explorable in the future)
