Software was NEVER FREE. Laws were passed on the entertainment industry in 1997, but Intelectual Property laws have existed for quite a while before. At the very least pirates, educate yourself with something beyond a 6th grade education.

I faced one regular pirate and one jagged knife experience. The first was kinda easy, I doom ray'd them all to death. The second was just annoying, they killed all my small ships, I had to send tons of phenix m18's to destroy them. Kinda sucked when they left. I had just dispatched about 5 destroyers to their locations and they abandoned me at my moment of trimpuh... ! What really surprised me was that they destroyed a couple of my pheonix m18's. No one has

Well, their already criminals, but I do agree that no one should go to a jail type environment unless they must. ^ Then go break the law. Explain to a judge that your changing laws by breaking them. The only way you can change a law by being over the law is by doing like communist russia did to the Russian kings. Which isn't something easily done here, so your stuck trying to change laws legally. And we are talking theft, a crime that has been made illegal i

The narrow view is called THE LAW. Complain to your politicians or a judge if you don't agree with it. BTW, laws don't get changed by you breaking the law. They get changed from the law as well, going thru the court system. By breaking the law that you disagree with, you're not fighting anything, just being a angsty kid using anarchy as a medium. If you want to change a law, do it legally. If you want this law to be changed, fight it in the courts. What you

I personally would like to know if Zubaz sent emails to anyone else, or if the 'punishment' is on the person who called them thieves (me). Threatening another member is NOT appropiate anywhere. Just to refute, telling someone your gonna send someone over to their house and hit them with a bat, even a wiffleball bat, even if it's a joke, is by law, a death threat.

Anyone who has a problem with what I said, take it up with the people who made theft a crime. Don't start your rivers of tears when someone says it. Don't start with me. I personally can't put you in prison. I can't get you arrested. I'm warning your stupid ass though, you do it, eventually, you'll go to prison. That's how the current law works. Don't take up how the current law works from someone who isn't a politician, policement, da, government employee, or anything like that.<
Thank goodness there are other rational individuals

Oh, here it is - being beat about the head and shoulders by a wiffle bat until unconscious. Or good sense is knocked into you, whichever comes first. Typically with your type, unconsciousness, but we live in hope. My apologies, I will be sending someone with a wifflebat to your place of residence.

DarkKnight, it is obvious that you are both ignorant and opiniona

You mean the ones who counter law with they can do what they want? The people who do this usually take about their rights to a judge. The lawmakers have the same views as me. So does Stardock. Once again, pm or email a stardock employee and tell them what your telling me. See how long you last.

Yeah, that's exactly the type of response I'd expect from a whiney kid. The guy who I quoted was the software engineer, but I guess some people are too busy stealing to learn anything. And also, considering the posts by Stardock, alot of the higher ups are 'moral ***s' too. Go tell them that, see what happens.
