Dread Lords are kicking my arse in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Hello, This is probably my 5th game playing GalCiv 2. I'm playing with the Dark Avatar expansion. I've started a game where I played the Terran and quickly researched Cultural Domination. After a few turns, the Dread Lords megaevent happened. They got a planet in a dark corner of the map. At first, they weren't really doing any bad. Just sitting there and building ships I guess. I manage to get 80% of the map influence and 68% of the total control. I just kept on building influence star

You might want to be carefull with changing from fullscreen game to the windows desktop. I had some problems with it in DA v1.5x. My game was often crashing when I tried that context switch. I'm now using 1.6beta and that seems to be solved.

Reply to Galactic Civilizations: The case for no multiplayer in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I've been playing GalCiv 2 for a while and I can't imagine it being multiplayer. It's higly enjoyable this way. I won't be part of the "I want multiplayer" crowd but I'll be having an in-depth look at the multiplayer expansion if that ever comes to us.

Hello, I've just downloaded DA 1.6 Beta 1 on the recommendation of Cari Begle to solve a bug I had with the current stable/production. I've been playing with the beta for a few hours and I had an other bug. I've been able to catch the crash/exception related files with SmartException. Is there a place to submit bug reports for the beta ? [email protected] ? [email protected] ?
